How do I enable the blacklist / where do I find it?

it works fine for me. Now lazarus is fun to play

Does anyone know if this mod is just broken? I didnt get the chance to try it and for some reason it just doesn't work

Does the mod not work anymore? I don't get the extra items.

this mod no longer works and doesnt give extra items, which sucks because it actually made tainted lazarus a tolerable character

can someone tell me why I get no extra items?

After doing a run with this mod, I can never go back. I do have a suggestion though, if you ever intend on making an update; maybe see if you can make T.Laz's pocket flip not flip item pedestals, and maybe show what item the other side will get? Even if you can't do those things, this is still the best way to play T.Laz

Honestly I just use this mod and ignore flip's item mechanic. I have more fun that way.

Not obsolete for Greed/Greedier where the whole flip mechanic is pure cancer ( enjoy paying tons of extra life or money for flips), leaving us with two characters with horrible dps/room clear ability who need to constantly sacrifice life to not get overwhelmed, even with birthright. Greedier might finally be doable for people without insane luck or ultra instinct.

Honestly wouldn't say this is obsolete, the change was implemented so poorly I'll probably still use this. Such a pain to play, especially in Greedier

Thank God this mod still works with the updated Lazarus. Makes him less of a slog to play.

Ok I know this mod is discontinued, but maybe someone knows the answer why I get no item for the other laz when I pick up the unknown items on the alt path (any items picked up after doing so don't give the other laz anything too)

The mod does still work with the new tainted Lazarus rework. When one half picks up a passive, the other one does get one from the same pool.

However, the mod doesn't block the new Flip functionality. This essentially allow you to get two items from each item room.

yeah. the randomness of the other item really made it risky fun.

gonna kinda miss the "the other item is completely random" this mod brought tbh, really brought that special spiciness you get with tainted characters specifically

Purgatory crashing the game when you switch forms as Tainted Lazarus happens in unmodded as well

a very awesome mod but every time you use purgatory between switching it crashes

i don't like being able to not choose the item that goes onto the other laz when i pick up an item

I thought I'd never say this but I actually enjoyed a T!Lazarus run, without the mod I had runs with great items and still be on the verge of dying and being stressed but with this mod I'd play casual games with him

The mod is great!
Could you make an option in the mod config menu where the other item that you would receive appears above the item, like the other mod? I think it would be nice to juggle which of them get which item or if picking an item would be worth because the mirror would get an good one.

@Silky does this happen on a specific seed or on all runs you've played?

like i said in the comment below if u walk out of the item room fast enough after picking up the item room item it will give u an item from normal rooms instead so just stay in the item room for second that should fix it

Instead of giving items from the treasure room pool it gives me from the boss one for some reason

update: u can also use cards like the moon to activate the effect in the comment below

hey i found a cool exploit that i honastly wouldnt like to be fixed lol, if you pick up an item i takes a short time till u get it like when he holds it above his head in that time u can go into another room then the item granted to the other lazurus will be of that rooms itempool instead of the one u picked it up in. u can use this to get devil/angel deal items from boss room items for instance :D

Seems to crash my game after a while. I think it's an incompatibility with some of my modded items. Unfortunately, I can't figure out exactly which ones.

Is there any way you can include a preview of what the other one will get?

but you made them pretty darn cool! I like it a lot.

Hey, not sure if you know this already, but sometimes it seems the other character gets locked into just boss items? like randomly ill play a run where its normal and works fine, but next the other character gets boss items instead of current item pool

It'd be really cool if you created a version of this mod for Jacob & Esau if there isn't one already

A QUARTER does not work

There's a bug where using the Soul of Lilith (the one that grants a permanent familiar) on one character will give the other Lazarus a random item as well... This is pretty minor though, this mod is awesome!

@Mooob "tlb_items_blacklist.lua" should be in the taintedlazbuffv2 folder in mods (where main.lua is).

Anyone posting about crashes it would be helpful if you could provide:
a mod list or a specific mod that causes a conflict;
the seed that causes the crash;
the circumstances behind the crash.

Sorry for the inconvenience but I am mostly unable to reproduce these crashes without further information!

Wonderfully well-made mod! You can't imagine how helpful it was of you guys to leave comments in the code - the explanations were invaluable.
One thing though, I noticed a call to a blacklist of items tlaz can't obtain and I was wondering where I could find said blacklist. I'm making my own mod, so any information helps!

This is an amazing mod, but at some point it has stopped working. Every time I try to start a run as tainted laz my game crashes.

well idk if it counts as a bug but do with that information as you will

bug: when I have the satanic bible and buy the item from the boss room, the other lazarus gets a boss pool item instead of a devil pool item
