i would love a half vanilla, half oldschool version of godhead, half of the flat damage it does now AND half of the damage it did originally

normal lost is considered an average character now if you have holy mantle unlocked

I did not suffer for 50 hours with the lost in afterbirth in hard mode just to get a nerfed item. This deserves to be the most OP passive item in the game.

My console reports an error:

is anyone aware of a middle ground mod that makes it so the aura is a flat rate + percentage of damage, instead of either extreme?

Using debug 7 I find the godhead damage is almost 2.00, maybe this mod have some bug?

There is a bug. If you have taken the godhead, the Ipecac's explosion will empty your heart in stage womb, no matter how many hearts you had before.

@soviet isko The special item system hardly changed anything, it only mattered if you happened to see another of a short list of items. It's only more common now because Angel items are more common than they used to be due to Ultra Secret Rooms and the game being re-balanced to make Devil Deals much worse than before.

yeah it's so common I had to turn this mod off because it was just obliterating everything so easily and getting it so often felt cheap
so I kinda understand the nerf now

One of two only nerfs I disagree with (2nd being obviously the mantle), why did they nerf a solid good item for completing one of hardest characters in game to being a meh item thats overshadowed by an item thats unlocked since the beginning xd

This was needed, I appreciate most nerfs but Godhead one has really no sense for an item that is literally meant by the devs to be dope

Jacob's Ladder even if meant to be a nerf feels stronger then ever because it hits much more constantly. Mom's Knife is completely unchanged besides being able to be fired in full 360 degrees. Honestly Tech X is still very powerful and Maw only really needs it's damage buff back, though athame needs it's black heart gen back it's already not that good
