sadly, it seems like the mod will overwrite any mod changes to the Qing focus tree (and for some reason the other chinese minors too).
It's probably impossible, but if there was some way to have a super lightweight version of the mod that does not touch focuses, that would be awesome.

Lizzie is already in the game, in order to unlock her go down the Monarchist path for Great Britain. Then allow for both King Edward and eventually Prince George to die. After they are both dead Elizabeth will be crowned Queen.

Not sure if you take suggestions but another mod that'd be cool like this one and your byzantine one would be one for Imperium Romanum after Italy forms it. Benny may have achieved his dream and rebuilt the old empire but his age is catching up and he needs someone young and competent to take the mantle before he dies and a bunch of power hungry generals fight for control of the empire, or some scenario along those lines.

In my opinion,I think the old portrait is better.

I kind of feel like Yoshiko Kawashima would be a better choice to make a mod about, not complaining of course, this mod is well detailed.

I don't think she looks good at all lol I even shortened her long neck in photoshop. But since she's a Habsburg you're lucky you can't see her chin from space.

I tried the non-aligned route by making Japan go with Kodoha. Apparently you have to depend on the Japanese to take those 'military parade' decisions enough times? I'm not sure the AI even does it, so I just tag switched a few times to prod them into it.

Then China doesn't create the united front either, they go down the shared focus and wind up getting guarantees from the allies and soviets, leading to a massive war off the bat. All in all, it's better to stay in historical mode.

It's still there, just think of it as the reward for conquering China. Although if you have an ongoing save where you already did it, you're kind of hooped.. how about for those who want the old one instead, I make an event to fire through the console to get it

well, i like this portrait so to please both parties u could make it so that u can choose between the old and the new portrait, theres no need to remove this in favour of the old one or vice-versa

it's not as flashy (or good maybe, although it took a lot longer to make) but for people like me who value a sense of realism or authenticity, I think it becomes more engaging to play? People will naturally differ on this.

The mod is already fantastical in the sense that Puyi simply hands over the hundreds of years or whatever legacy, but I always try to keep fantasy to a minimum if I can.

I was actually embarrassed since this mod has blown past 20k views now, to have a random costumed woman instead of the real deal. Now, maybe the portrait was why it even took off, but it also felt like I was tricking people.

It should be supported already. But only possible if Japan goes with support kohoda faction, as far as I know. I have never actually tried it though

Hope that huge link works. I think i have decent selection tool and slider tweaking skills, but colourising or making good watercolour is beyond me. I could try it, but it wouldn't be as good. Which is why I didn't use a real Wanrong. There are a some good B&W pictures of her though. Just image search Wanrong. If anyone could make one for me, I would appreciate it. Although people seem to like the portrait already, lol. Maybe a compromise of real Wanrong portrait initially, which transforms into this one on the mandate of heaven focus? Similar to Puyi.
