Universe at War: Novus Ships
Universe at War: Hierarchy Ships
AI Ship Set - LS Edition
United Fleet Shipset
United Fleet NSC3 Patch
Better Ship Behaviors (OUT OF DATE SINCE JULY)
- cruisers, exploration cruisers, battlecruisers and carriers are not buildable by any empire in the game regardless of tech or ressources
- empires with bio ships cant build any civilian ships (constructors, science ships, colony ships, etc | the options just dont show up, i checjed)
- empires that start with beast port civic are too stupid to build regular shipyards and wont build any, thus resulting in them also being unable to build civilian ships (they can build them, they just dont build any shipyards on their own volition)
thank you for the feedback
How many stars on your map, what shape is the galaxy. It may not be either of these. what type of species is your empire?
As for list just post the ones that need to be updated in this comments section. Thank you for the info
(the crashes happen quickly after starting a new game on an alderson disk)
edit: it's the option "increased precursor drop" from gulliman planet modifier

The Juggernaut can be assigned to a fleet" yet i have them, it might be that the name are wrongs.
However ~~Ariphaos Unofficial Patch (4.0) is in work. So we will probably be able to use it soon
Im using your exact load order, with the blanked out mods disabled (stellaris fixes and patch).
I am using gigastructures, and in my current game im on year 2237 and no crashes so far. However I had to start a new game 5-6 times before I could actually get passed day one.
Many times Crashes are related to UI. Are you using any UI mods outside the collection?
But I will say I have not seen any problems like you are having. Are you using any mods outside of this collection?
and before that is a TON of "failed to add building" to these fallen empires.
[planet.cpp:10319]: Failed to add building of type 'Nourishment Center' to planet 'Sustenance District' at common/scripted_effects/giga_fe_megas_scripted_effects.txt:738 @ scripted effect spawn_materialist_fe_gaming_food_center at file: events/giga_007_fallen_empire.txt line: 2187: trigger_no Exists - manyt of these for different buildings.
Before those, is about 8 minutes of no errors where I was familiarizing myself with the ui and picking technologies lol and as soon as i unpaused, crashed, about 5-6 times until i started a game and it randomly didnt crash.
Hope that helps!
I managed to get the game passed day 1 after unpausing by just starting new games over and over until it just.. didnt crash.
The error log extensively pointed to a fallen empire that was trying to spawn starbases with components that enabled mobility/FTL travel every time it crashed. Let me find an exact line.
[galaxy_generator.cpp:607]: Trying to create a starbase with an invalid starbase design XIX for ship size starbase_citadel (note: starbases cannot have components that allow them to move or go FTL)
(tbc)
you still have these two mods disabled?
Stellaris Fixes
~~Ariphaos Unofficial Patch (4.0)
Seems to be a bunch of starbases trying to be built with components that enable movement/FTL technology. According to the crash log.. among a bunch of other stuff.
I only use the steam version so idk for you :/. But mine was buggy, even without mod my game crashes when I click on "new game". So I uninstalled everything, deleted all my paradox and stellaris files and redownloaded the game.
After, i donwload the collection and made the modlist in the paradox launcher.
I have a convoluted stellaris setup.. I bought the game and DLC on GOG due to a sale they had, but in order to use workshop mods I had to buy a copy of stellaris base game on steam.
So Add mods on steam, set up and apply mods on irony, launch "game" on GOG launcher which just launches the paradox launcher, set the IronyModManager playset in paradox, then launch game. lol All that to say, would a fresh install mean installing all the various shit again or just the main one i use (GOG)?
My crash log consists of 108,311 lines of various issues.
Invalid tech, Malformed tokens, inexistent sprite types, missing textures, missing animations, unexpected tokens pointing to a bunch of ship gfx, invalid curve in particles files, particle name not unique, duplicates of all kinds, asset has too long name, compile error in shadercache, undeclared identifier 'systemPointLight', ships missing animation mesh, a ton of errors pointing to scripted_triggers/zzz_overrites.txt, district type missing zone slots, and the list goes on...
Any ideas? I havent been able to get a single collection to work since 4.0 and beyond.. and its killing my drive to even play the game again lol
A lot of these mods are graphical,(Portrait Mods, Shipset mods, worm hole mod, ASB, Fleet Formation mod or any fleet formation changing type mods you choose to use).
Guilli's Planet Modifiers and Features :
Living Planet Space Monster requires Leviathans DLC. This is probably not an issue.
Forgotten Empires 4.0 :
Recommended DLC, but not required: Ancient Relics, Utopia, Synthetic Dawn, Nemesis and First Contact - these will provide additional rewards.
Extra Events 4.0 Continued
Recommended DLC, but not required: Ancient Relics, Utopia, Synthetic Dawn, Nemesis and First Contact
You can test a game by playing and also watching one.
1. Open a console in game. press the key '
2. in the prompt field type: observe
3. press <enter>
4. Close the console press the key '
5. Run the game and look around at whats going on with AI empires.
I have not seen those two issues , that you described, in this collection. I play with the collection almost everyday.
If you are using Irony, there have been several issues with launching a game. I highly recommend using the Stellaris launcher to start a game.
