As I said earlier, I never got this to work. All the information I have about how to make it go is in the description, but if anyone else gets it to work and provides more detailed instructions, I'll update the description.

@AlicornNightmare, did you manage to get it working? and if so how because I can't seem to get mine working after following your instructions?

No, I never did. It was too technically complicated for me, so I stuck to the original auto-speak tool.

You're not alone; when I tried using this originally, I never had good results.

the JustGetMyVolume window is working but when I try to use the tool in game, nothing happens :(

As an FYI, GordonWalkedBy, an [assumingly Chinese] Asian person uploaded this originally. I do believe it was deleted because of China's shitty rules involving internet traffic.

The module to actually make this work is in this wayback machine link, I'm surprised someone manged to save it here with a working download link.

1. Download the 7z file (it will show a redirection page, let it finish as the download will pop up).
2. Extract it to <path-to-game>/garrysmod/data directory.
3. Run JustGetMyVolume.exe and type the number correlating to your microphone and press enter.
4. I think the original author said that another program that monitors the microphone playback has to be opened in the background (does not have to be USING the mic, just needs to monitor it.Try opening Windows's sounds settings).
5. Use the tool in-game and try talking.
