Get this script and you can essentially never run out of pipebombs, medkits, or pills while playing this mutation.

great mod overall, but one inquiry i just noticed , the horde's events such as last levels or events to continue the level are not spawning zombies , dont know if that was planned or some sort of issue

Been trying several campaigns with this recently and notice it's crashing on map transitions.

Still my definitive way to play though.

This is my definitive way to player 2 player coop, or solo, but honest to god, I think a version for 3 or even 4 players would still be just as fun. With the shear amount of enemies and the damage you take, I think it would still be a tough and fun challenge.

Maybe in the future you could make a 3 or 4 player version without editing this version? Honest to god i hope this addon never gets deleted because this is my default way of playing this game now.

Perfect mutation for coop and, especially, for horde spam campaigns, but it have 1 issue - seems like only host can choose character, cuz my friend always spawn as a random survivor.

The ONLY issue with this is that all of the specials still spawn (when its supposed to be tanks and witches only?).. and LOTS of them. Had 4 jockeys, a hunter, 2 smokers, boomer and spitter all at once coming for me at the start of Dark Carnival lmao. The only one that I haven't seen was a charger. I'll assume this is probably some other mod I have causing it.. cause you know.. mods *shrug* It's fun tho.

I assure you it has nothing to do with this mod, as this mod makes no edits to weapon scripts. It sounds to me like you still have some other mod installed that you're not aware of.

In any case you can get around that issue by having you and your friend open the command console and type in "sv_consistency 0" before launching a map.

Enjoyed this mod for a short period of time but sadly now it sends error about scripts/weapons_smg.txt when my friend tries to connect me(
I totally reinstalled the game and unsubscribe from all addons except for this one but anyone trying to connect to me recieve this error.
Anyway, for the time it worked for me it was one of the brightest experience that i had with L4D for almost 10 years. Thanks!

This is probably my favorite mutation, but, is there a version out there with support for more than two players? I have to occaisonally trade spots with another friend for him to enjoy this. Either way, good work on this mod I love it.

I just love this mutation, sometimes i've wondering how will be l4d2 as stealth game , now i know it, and it's fun. I reccomend to all that play this to type: bind "CTRL" "toggle_duck" in the console, and you will not have to hold the ctrl to crouch, it's really useful.

True, shame you can't edit it so the armor only stops low caliber weapons (pistol an SMGs) an melee weapons as I'm pretty sure riot armor isn't designed to stop everything up to an including 50cal.

Funny how in zombies games and movies armour always seems to be more effective for zombies then it is for humans

Oh cool, at first I thought the director was spawning wandering zombies in which are then alerted by whatever you activated but there is normally way too many of them for that to be the case I think.

I've also run into a strange occurance where an area can be completely empty one moment and then filled with infected the next and vice versa but I think that is the game and not the mutation.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. I have a fix I'm already running on the All Alone mutation, just gotta get around to implementing it in this.

I've probably already commented about this and forgotten or someone else has or it's working as intended but mobs still spwan during crecendo events. Ones where you just have to wait them out is fine but the gaunlet ones are next to impossible as literal rivers of zombies come charging towards you and you don't have the health or ammo to get past them.

An yes I know you can outrun them but you can't outrun hordes that are coming head on in a tunnel with armoured zombies mixed in.
