Hmmm I didn't think about chutes. I was desperate for platinum, I didn't even think about reentry at the time. Next time I may just add a half dozen chutes to be safe.


It is a great little ship cheap and really easy to build.

i added parachutes to it, and even with 2 of em slowing me down it was too heavy yeah, but its only supposed to be a scouting ship really... i use it to scout and then i go around with my miner after to bring stuff in, for the field of view, i guess it needs more visibility yeah but i just used 3rd person

its very fragile and blows up easy so you do have to be careful with it but other than that i think its perfect, lots of room for easy modifications, i added a conveyer junction at the front with a drill under it pointing forward and a connector on it to connect to base, i also added 2 h2/o2 gen on the sides of that conveyer juction to make hydrogen faster for longer trips easier, i added the 2 parachutes on the slanted blocks on the top, it doesnt look the most pretty but i wanted fuction, and that thing was easy to mod to be what i needed .

I found an issue. If you enter atmo with a full payload you will make a great honking creator. I lost 80% of my platinum haul this way. I started breaking at 7 km off the ground and never slowed one bit. it is still a good ship but one should know the lift cap before using it.

I like it just the way it is. Most people will fly it in 3rd person view most of the time anyway. I would like to know what it's lift capacity is though.

I will build another one and keep using it until I am ready for a larger ship.

It doesn't have the best field of view; I debated adding side windows so the pilot could see better. I'll ponder that for a possible revision to the design. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. I was striving for simple.

I like, now to see if I can fly it without crashing , bumping everything in sight.
