I remember loving playing with this mod, but it looks like it is currently conflicting with many other popular mods. To name a few: a lot of JNR mods for Urban Complexity, the new version of Civ Expanded, Sukritact's Resources and Oceans, Caravans and Pilgrims. Many of which I wouldnt want to give up at this point. Hopefully this one can be updated soon (and the list above is hopefully helpful).

would love it if this mod could be made compatible with some of the popular mods, like sukritact's oceans which changes fisheries, and JNR's bonus resource improvements which adds tile improvements.

I'm actually cool with every change made by this mod to Canada and such, the problem is the additional districts.

The added districts from City Lights obliterate the balance of Civilizations Expanded (and vanilla, for that matter)... could you either remove them or have configuration options for the mod? For instance, I'd rather have no changes whatsoever from CL on my civs, and click that option in-game, but when this mod is used that checkbox doesn't work.

would like to report that in Text/CL_Text_CX.sql:
LOC_DISTRICT_COREX_TSIKHE_DESCRIPTION have a descrption of +5 combat strength for occupying unit,
but at "LOC_DISTRICT_COREX_TSIKHE_LOAD_DESCRIPTION" it becomes +10 Combat Strength instead.

@Bobby I have played with both JNR's Urban Complexity series and City Lights without any problems. I suspect that the issue lies with one of the other mods.

Hello I need help. Which mods are really compatible with city light? I put the mods of JNR's complex urban but I never manage to launch a game car error.

Hope you get back to this sometime. New bug: Cannot place holy sites when using city lights and JNR's Urban Complexity series. Could be all districts. I also have other mods installed and haven't rigorously tested combinations of them. district is selectable, but when you click the hex you want it in, it doesn't take and all city-owned hexes turn brown. GS, no leaderpack. Save file available. If you get back into it and need more testing, let me know.

I'm playing with City Lights, 6T, Wetlands and the compatibility patch... but yet my Reed Homes aren't getting extra gold from my Fishing Village... any ideas?

Sukritact's Oceans reworks the fishery, causing it to be unworkable, which doesn't really work well with fishing villages in city lights. Could you disable the fishery rework in this patch?

Stahlseele Civilizations Expanded allows everyone to work mountain tiles, which is what that patches.

Not sure if this is a bug in this mod or the Unique Building - Dojo mod from Urban Complexity. I'm currently playing a game with UC + City Lights and the Dojo replaced the Cabinet/Mansion instead of Art Museum, but it also blocks the Archaeology Museum, so it's literally impossible to build the Archaeology Museum.

This patch isn't updated for the latest version of the mod, multiple Civ Expanded civs are overwritten by some city lights changes.

Can a patch be added so the fishery from Sukritact's Oceans can work with Citylights Mod fishing village? Currently it doesnt recognize the fishery as it should in order to mod its yields.

I tested it and there's no problem with that combination.

In my own mod collection, I got the error around the end of the Classical Era when I enabled a JFD mod (in this case, I enabled the extra government type mod from "rule with faith"), which makes sense, as those mods haven't been properly updated in a while.

Of course, your issue might some other mod combination, but you would probably have to spend some time figuring it out.

Just checked and while this mod has no issues, it appears that some other unrelated mod combinations are causing a crash near the middle/end of the Classical Age.
I will try and find the faulty mod/s. Maybe that will also help your issue.

The Chinampa improvement from Leugi's Aztec Rework might be a good candidate for inclusion for adding to Fishermen or Farmer units. IMPROVEMENT_LEU_CHINAMPA

@Noah Yeah, there's not much anyone can do about that, except hope that Firaxis fixes the issue or that they release the DLL code one of these days.

I would advise you to try and find a balance between 3D asset heavy mods. For instances, I can still play CL with Steel and Thunder, JNR's Districts Expansion and pretty much every single World and Natural Wonder mods out there.

@Amondin I went ahead and made Laurier's Ability a mix of Vanilla (farming Tundra) and CE (most of the Woods bonuses) when you have CE enabled. This way you can use the Frontier Town as it was intended while safeguarding CE's Woods focus for Canada.

@Alto I am still checking out the issues related with Expanded Alliances. I will update the Comp Patch when I find a solution.

Could you please upload a version which retains Laurier's CE ability for those who prefer it? Thank you for making this, but I can't stand the vanilla effect in comparison with CE's in this case.
