i was able to make a laser hit the receptacle and go through the laser receptacle. i used 1 laser redirection cube to angle a laser to be easily redirected by the other redirection cubes

i actually haven't even used the sponge, somehow got a one laser to trigger two cubes at once, still drived me crazy also
