Вот бы весь Serious Sam был такой
its really good idea imo
Few critiques & suggestions:
- Kleer model needs to be bigger
- Knife needs a very slight range attack added
- Heart room is frustrating on Serious as fights escalate too fast without proper equipment to deal with them. Too many gnaars & kamikaze fight at the end is barely doable.
I suggest moving minigun inside that room. That way minigun won't be a situational weapon, like it is for the final fight.
Other than that, quality stuff.
Outstanding work
This is literally bursting with charm and personality, I really wished the indie spin-offs of the serie were more like this (instead of another twin stick shooter no one asked for).
I would literally pay the price of a full, new retail game for a whole campaign in this style
Art direction is stellar, i really dig the low res textures and models. Player first person and enemy animations are also very high quality. Too bad it's only 1 level, would've played the whole TFE with these changes!
Mod's vibe is simply extraordinary, I'd love to see retro level from Second Encounter
> will the full version of the mod ever come out? I mean reworking the entire first sam?
Afraid not. This took a lot of work, it wouldn't be feasible to rework the entire campaign in that style as a free mod. If croteam straight up funds us however I'll gladly take it
I mean reworking the entire first sam?
It would be a pretty laborious process, I'm sure there's a quick way to swap enemies as they spawn, but a lot of the other Sam enemies weren't remade in this style
