To those who still don't like main mechanics I'd advice a mod "Lesbocracy".. Seems interesting when I gave it a shot and it worked suprisingly well with another mod called "republic equaity".. The mod gives you a special secret society you can found if your in a lesbian relationship.. And Republic equality allows you to have female doges..

Only for feudal and republics though, doesn't work for Tribal and Nomands except giving you a option to make it a "matriarchy".. Where women inherit instead of men

Pretty good mod with loads of events that buff their skills, some events around the society itself and some nodges to old greek mythology.. Argueably you can the mod might even be pretty OP.. You can expect many female courtiers and rulers with pretty high stats.. Around 10-20's and 30 or higher if immortal..

And you can force your members of your society to allow equal inherriting between female and male.. You can even go to Enactic.. Where only females can inherit..

Of course it's not up to date, there's no reason to update it when the mechanics it used to add have already been added to the vanilla game.

My game crashes when I have this mod activated. Do I need a DLC to use this mod or is it just not updated at all?

I don't get why people think this is a 'big feminist plot1wdfjsadfsdaf' it's not lol. It just makes it more fun to play as a chick in CK2, which can really suck sometimes, (looking at you kiev charlemagne startdate)

Someone should clean up the dead mods... instead of leaving them there for newbs like myself. Lol I litterally had to test every mod I added one by one just to figure out which ones were dead mods... Finally after 49 mods I found this one.

If you do want a mod that enables enatic by default and allows you to have a complete female court,including commanders, then look to Return of the amazonians. It's not the same as this mod no, but has some features from it. This mod is obsolete, as it can't run with the latest patch, which is 2.8.

Look at my previous comment a further down the page. Last mention of a possible fix was back in Feb of 2016. Chances are a fix isn't coming.

Tried to play the Game with only this mod and evertime it crashes before it gets past the loading screen. Hoq long until this can be fixed?

I absolutely loved playing with this mod. But I seem to have the same problem as some others here. I am more of an "old-school"-player for Patch 2.1.6. I would love you to death if you could make the mod working again. :)

Guys, the mod author posted the message below, but it was back in Feb of 2016. The mod won't work without an update, and I'm not too sure it's going to get an update anytime soon, if ever.

Whenever I launch the game with Crusader Queens I'm getting a weird event popup that pauses the game and displays no options to close it? It's literally a blank event that pauses the game and I can't do anything to stop it?

yep i get the same thing and traced it to this mod, had to un enable it

Getting spammed with broken, blank popups that pause the game permanently
Traced it back to this mod by disabling them one by one
Mod is not compatible with current version of the game as of april 8th, 2017

Like, @Khaine, I took keep getting a slew of blank notices and there is no way to dismiss them.

I want to use this mod *so* much too, but as it currently is work it doesn't seem usable. Is there a way to fix this that can be done by modding a game file?

This mod is great, but sadly buggy. My Welsh Queen keeps getting weird, blank messages that pause the game, and won't allow me to get rid of them.

You no longer really need this mod as an update to the base game incoporated elements of this mod into it. When starting a new game you now have the official option to turn off historical inequaulity in the world and make Queens and Princess equal to Kings and Princes. Haven't played with this option yet but I imagine with this option set you merely need to change your succession law and then women can become your ruler and nobody will object on gender basis (They will still probably hate you for screwing up their own chance to become King)

okay so as someone who was a big fan of this mod i waited and waited but im pretty sure the modder as moved on from it SO after testing around with some other mods two that pretty much make it feel as close to this mod did is 'Enatic Kingdoms' and 'Religious Freedom' with the update that came with reapers due it gives you almost full gender equilty and with Religious Freedom it allows for women to have the court chaplin job AND have female popes so hope this helps anyone looking for something like this :)

Even without mods on(aside from this one) I keep getting a bunch of blank unclosable letters pop up. How can I fix this.

Updated July 23rd of '15. No update is coming. Mod author likelt stopped development since newer patches/DLC have essentially incorporated the main draw of this mod into the base game.

It's an awesome mod, but it needs to be updated. I keep getting blank event messages after one minute and can't play.

Actually if u check back to page 7 which was Feb 2 author said that he was working on it then seeing how it is now sept thats 7 months of waiting. Which is why i am wondering if it even will be updated

If anyone would care to actually read some comments(the answer is literally on page 3 as of 13th September), you'd find out that an update is coming.The developer is actively working on it. Regardless of the type of mod, it always takes an uncomfortably long time to update a CK2 mod once a DLC-patch comes out, and especially so when Conclave comes and messes up game mechanics that are directly affected by this mod. Have some patience.
