Yes it still works, and works great in all worlds. But only with prefabs listed above.
aquelarrefox 24. juni 2019 kl. 6:03
sw?
matt_f4rell 21. sep. 2017 kl. 9:16
can you make it shipwrecked compatible?
Glowth 24. apr. 2016 kl. 11:31
Mod is outdated, can anyone confirm if it's working? Also OP please update.
Tresixth 1. mar. 2016 kl. 16:03

JWT 22. dec. 2015 kl. 8:57
will this be compatible with the new dlc?
Chozzenone11 11. apr. 2015 kl. 18:21

Medra 3. jan. 2015 kl. 20:53
I suggest marking the mod as RoG compatible in steam, so that other users can find it easier.
Woodhouse 1. jan. 2015 kl. 14:56
Compatible with RoG or no?
Ginkofishin 14. dec. 2014 kl. 20:17
thanks man! this is still one of the coolest mods in the workshop!
UnderwearApprentice  [ophavsmand] 14. dec. 2014 kl. 20:14
@Ginkofishin - No worries. That is a possibility in the future as I plan to make the mod more user configurable. Thanks for the suggestions.
Ginkofishin 14. dec. 2014 kl. 20:07
@Farnsworth - i'm sorry, i was making a suggestion.
Ginkofishin 14. dec. 2014 kl. 20:04
also could there be a hard cap for things that can't be removed wothout console comands like tentacle pillers and tallbird nests?
UnderwearApprentice  [ophavsmand] 14. dec. 2014 kl. 20:04
@Ginkofishin - What do you mean?
Ginkofishin 14. dec. 2014 kl. 19:59
cactus?
UnderwearApprentice  [ophavsmand] 1. nov. 2014 kl. 21:34
@Alberto Pietralunga - It still works as it should. I will update when I can.
アルベルト Pietralunga 26. okt. 2014 kl. 15:40
This mod looks great! Unfortunately it's outdated. Could you update it please?
GalloViking 31. juli 2014 kl. 1:06
In fact I'm in a world where I almost broke every boulders, and a world without boulder is kind of, well, empty. Of course I can go in caves, that's what I do, but it won't bring back boulders in rocky biomes. But I'll try this rock lobters mod. Looks like a decent option, thanks for the tip!
Hexerin 30. juli 2014 kl. 22:17
you can get infinite rocks from the caves anyways, right?
UnderwearApprentice  [ophavsmand] 30. juli 2014 kl. 21:33
@André - Thanks for the kind words, I doubt I will add in spawning rocks though, as I don't see where they would spawn from, or who would make them. There is a mod that makes some rock lobsters turn into boulders though, best I can recommend.
GalloViking 30. juli 2014 kl. 9:16
This mod. Is. Awesome. There is just one missing respawn: rocks.
UnderwearApprentice  [ophavsmand] 28. juli 2014 kl. 11:36
@Hexerin - Thanks, glad you're enjoying it.
Hexerin 28. juli 2014 kl. 8:23
fav'd. i love mods like this. there was one of these in minecraft, added seasons and natural world growth, completely altered my view of how the game could be.
W4R-D3N 23. juli 2014 kl. 21:53
ah yes by itself the rock lobsters are appearing. There must be a conflict with another mod I have enabled.
UnderwearApprentice  [ophavsmand] 23. juli 2014 kl. 21:34
@X0XWARGASMX0X - Have you tried it with only this mod on? I have used it since I made it and can see Rock Lobsters in my game. This mod does nothing to affect them.
W4R-D3N 23. juli 2014 kl. 21:27
For some reason this mod makes rock lobersters in the caves invisible. I am able to see them on the map and can hear the sound of them walking but I can only see small circular shadow indicating where they are. There is also no way I can interact with them as well. Anyone else experiencing this problem? (disabling the mod causes the rock lobsters to appear and function normally)
UnderwearApprentice  [ophavsmand] 16. juli 2014 kl. 16:09
@hotmatrixx - They can only spawn near other objects of their type. Theoretically, they could eventually crawl onto desert turf, but wouldn't spawn there unless there was a merm house already there. The spawns ignore turf type.
hell/nah 16. juli 2014 kl. 15:58
Heh I was just thinking of a merm-hut spawning in the desert. Is that a thing? or is it "smart" enough to know which biomes / rooms it can spawn certain types of prefabs in?

Just curious, now.
UnderwearApprentice  [ophavsmand] 16. juli 2014 kl. 11:29
hotmatrixx - Thanks for the kind words. It is quite simple, but one of my favourites. I'm glad you enjoy it.
hell/nah 16. juli 2014 kl. 6:29
For a while, I parely understood the need, usefulness or point of this mod. I just realised how mandatory this should be on vanilla.

It respawns Mandrakes? Woot Woot!
And then you get massive bushfires, etc that can potentially wipe a forest, or species of something out, it's good to have this continually adding what are otherwise finite resources to the game, especially items like bushes and twigs.

I'm also pleased to see that it's not indiscriminate - It won't spawn rocks (which are always findable in caves anyway, that's what the caves are for ) or animals. They already have respawners. But it spawns their respawners. how clever.
UnderwearApprentice  [ophavsmand] 7. juli 2014 kl. 8:49
@Urist McEngie - Thanks for the update.
Urist McEngie 5. juli 2014 kl. 19:20
@Farnsworth You dpn't need to be concerned about the crash I reported long ago, turns out another mod was causing it, and it wasn't because of this one.
UnderwearApprentice  [ophavsmand] 4. juli 2014 kl. 16:56
@Lord Toaster - You cannot at this time. There is no flower spawner in this mod though.
BeatleSanders 4. juli 2014 kl. 11:05
is thare a switch to tern off diffrent spawns like you could tern off flowers
or cave ferns etc
UnderwearApprentice  [ophavsmand] 22. maj 2014 kl. 6:59
@Urist McEngie, Block Wrangler - The first three lines are from my mod, but I thought I got rid of those printouts. I am unsure if the crash is from my mod. The actual crash is not, but it is possible a plant was spawned and that function was called before the component was set. Only thing I can think of, but I doubt it. Is this a recurring crash?, If not, please post the full log on pastebin or something so I can see it next time it happens.
Urist McEngie 19. maj 2014 kl. 17:16
I think I'm getting a crash: Here is an except from the log:

Is this from your mod?
UnderwearApprentice  [ophavsmand] 10. maj 2014 kl. 23:13
@debugman18 - My concern was how to tell how long the pinecones have been on the ground. ie. If you loaded a game for 10 minutes, I probably do not want them spreading within 1.25 segments. I figured I would need to create a timer for each pinecone, and keep track of it myself. It was my understanding that every load, all entities "exists time" is reset to 0.
Debug 10. maj 2014 kl. 20:38
@Farnsworth
Just use the periodicspawner component, and in the function callback remove the pinecone after the tree is spawned.
UnderwearApprentice  [ophavsmand] 30. apr. 2014 kl. 20:06
@Urist McEngie, Block Wrangler - The pinecone idea is good, the only problem is everything starts it's lifetime when you load a game, so it would be difficult to keep track of all of them. I have an idea, but it may be more difficult than it is worth. The catcoon dens should spawn new ones around them whether alive or dead. Please let me know if they do not.
Urist McEngie 30. apr. 2014 kl. 16:33
Have you considered adding to this mod or an alternate mod this mechanic: If a pinecone is left on the ground for a while, it will automatically plant. That way, if a forest is burnt down, the pinecones that pop out from dead trees will help the forest rejuvenate.

Now, you probably have not thought of this, but: If a catcoon den dies(the catcoon runs out of lives), will it spread to make more dead catcoon dens? Or will a dead catcoon den spawn live ones around it? Or will it not spread whatsoever?
UnderwearApprentice  [ophavsmand] 30. apr. 2014 kl. 7:36
@Urist McEngie, Block Wrangler - Should work for both, but I haven't tested it without RoG.
Urist McEngie 29. apr. 2014 kl. 20:49
This makes perfect sense! Does this work with RoG only or does the one mod work for both non RoG and RoG games?
Ginkofishin 29. apr. 2014 kl. 19:06
I took over the comments... MUWA HA HA!
UnderwearApprentice  [ophavsmand] 29. apr. 2014 kl. 18:35
@rellera - Mushtrees are already in, but I wasn't in the description. Thanks.
Ginkofishin 29. apr. 2014 kl. 17:55
Mushtrees
Ginkofishin 29. apr. 2014 kl. 13:52
ancient statues during the nightmare phase can make gems by some means of conversion or whatever. ruins earthquakes. idk.
UnderwearApprentice  [ophavsmand] 29. apr. 2014 kl. 13:34
@rellera - there was an idea of a thulecite fountain that would make thulecite only during earthquakes during the nightmare phase in the ruins. I may look at doing that. Gems maybe if the idea is unique enough.
Ginkofishin 29. apr. 2014 kl. 13:28
Not exchange, just a means to make a finite and nearly finite item like thulecite and gems more attainable without removing the rarity and challenge.
UnderwearApprentice  [ophavsmand] 29. apr. 2014 kl. 12:48
@rellera - If you mean some kind of exchange or crafting system for gems or thulecite, that won't happen. There are already mods for that, and nothing multiplies, that theoretically couldn't. Spider Dens do not multiply. I thought about it, but they have queens for that. The objects will make another one near to them. So no, there will not be wasps nests in the swamp unless a very long game is played and the nest are close to the swamp, they might start spreading into that area. Highly unlikely though.
Ginkofishin 29. apr. 2014 kl. 12:11
Too much to say! Ugh! I'm sorry, do the randomly picked objects locate randomly or in their appropriate biomes? Will I see wasp hives in the marshes?
