Hello, your mod is great, thanks for your work! I don't want to play the game without this mod anymore! But, I also use the physics mod with Aerodynamics. And I have a question: your engines have a realistic effect on the structure, but the blocks in the aerodynamic mode that create lift still affect the center of mass, and Because of this, an airplane, for example, can fly with one wing torn off and not experience any problems with stability.Could you make a patch for the aerodynamic mod so that it uses physics like in your mod? That would be amazing!

I've got some troubles with the CLOSE_ENOUGH. Setting 30 doesn't allow thrust within 30 meters of the projected planes to act on the CoM. It still generates torque. Will test some more.

Can confirm, config file doesn't seem to be generating on world save.

Hey mate .. where do i find the config file .. ive searched for it

it does still work

If the thruster is closer than CLOSE_ENOUGH to the center of mass, just use center of mass. Bit of a fudge factor for things like drones that manually control thrusters.

hey! can you describe the CLOSE_ENOUGH variable?
Please and thanks.

thank you!!

I've tested other 3 thruster offset mods. Digi's mod is being 100% realistic so it's quite hard to balance (even though I built an atmospheric hauler with it) I can say that.
Knsgf's mod is quite advanced but it was a bit complicated also. His RCS mod is simpler but it has a feature that I didn't like which is "Engines can either steer the ship or accelerate it, but not both at the same time".

I think this realistic-ish thruster is the best suited for Space Engineers. Because it's voxel/block based game (unlike KSP that allows you to move and angle parts with precision) Thanks for sharing.

let me know!

I had problems with the original realistic thrust and vector thrust and aerodynamics together. Looking forward to trying this!

oh crap never saw your message, sadly my pc is barely functioning right now and aside from a few games i actually cant playt that one anymore x.x

if i remember correctly it was pretty Burried and installed weirdly but considering the issues im suffering with my pc its hard to determine if it was the mod or my pc at this point x.x loved your mod though once i had it working

Fixed to work with industrial overhaul

@{TemporarilylockedDown} where did you find it exactly?
Roseanna Stevens 21. feb. 2021 kl. 12:59
hey yeah maybe next time for new players let them know where that files is cause i had to spend almost an hour searching before going online.

Thank you! I don't know either. The sbmi file was in there, it just didn't get used
Digi 4. feb. 2021 kl. 9:38
It needs the modinfo.sbmi in the local mod so it knows what workshopId to upload to, it gets generated automatically so I dunno what you did there for it to be missing =)

I tried to update the one already there and it wouldn't let me, it kept saving it as a new mod instead
Digi 4. feb. 2021 kl. 0:39
Why a different upload for an update? :P
