Cannons are real cannons now, great mod, very stable under almost any condition.

Thank you! its always kinda bothered me that the cannons and archers/bowmen have the same range but the cannons take so much more heat/production

The upgrade should still apply. I modified the base range, so any modifier should add onto it. Therefor the upgrade would make it 4 range.

i would like to know if the effects of this stack with the artillary upgrade already available within the base game
so does it go
2 (stock) -->3 (mod) --> 4 (artillary upgrade)
or is that upgrade moot?

The base range of a cannon in Civlization V is two tiles. But with the mod it can shoot three tiles. Also when upgraded you recieve artillary which also fires three tiles.
