Whats the agent skill equivalent for this guy?
dberks 17. jan. 2024 kl. 12:39
Love this mod. It would be cool to have something similar for Fots.
TheHolyRegent 19. dec. 2023 kl. 2:19
Maybe I did something wrong, or it conflicts with something (except for other mods for leveling generals, obviously). but the mod doesn't look to be working. A 100% tax increase is not shown in numbers and does not actually increase the amount of money. The reload rate of the firearm is also not displayed. maybe, of course, the latter is shown only in battle, but as far as I remember, it was shown outside in other mods.
Parckstein 23. nov. 2023 kl. 7:22
is this only for the user? or all generals?
Attano 8. aug. 2023 kl. 18:04
So the perk that includes ( + per growth across all provinces) doesn't work?
Patches The Crippled 16. apr. 2022 kl. 14:45
Does anyone know of a mod or how you can get more skill points per level with this mod?
Lotussy 1. feb. 2022 kl. 12:39
Where can i find how to modify your mod for myself only?
I would love to adapt it a bit, but i have no idea how to
Nat20 6. juli 2021 kl. 9:55
id like to make this usable for fall of the samurai, i just dont know how to do that in the pfm
wiselight3 7. maj 2021 kl. 6:41
sadly this mod greatly destroys your game play experience with op skills
Cosmik Debris 23. apr. 2021 kl. 23:29
This was really fun till Mori showed up at my :EN_NA_Castle: with three 6* :EN_NA_Officer: and destroyed me utterly.
Wayz 10. mar. 2021 kl. 13:10
At first glance I thought, This is very very Op and unbalanced and then I took a second glance and It is anything you want it to be really. If want to boost to godlike units the option is there for you or if want around the same balance and still have a ton of room for some customisation at reasonable levels... that option is also there just depends on where you put your points.
Useqev 30. dec. 2020 kl. 10:36
For some reason the skill tree is not working for the Ikko Ikki .
Consigliere Crow 14. okt. 2020 kl. 19:05
if only it worked for fall of the samurai
4ACE_headshot.g 22. jan. 2020 kl. 21:03
I like the idea of this mod alot, but I only put like 6 points into the studious side of the tree for research bonuses and now Im researching kabunakama in 3 turns and the last tech on either tree and all their pre requisites in like 10.

I think these + research levels are stacking instead of being updated. Breaks the game.

i want mod 'fall of the samurai' like this mod
Arailies 20. maj 2019 kl. 11:56
Have you got or know a version for agents? Or any indication that you might include agents into the mod?
garrowe101 5. apr. 2019 kl. 16:04
The charge tree at first seems seriously OP, then you realize the ashigaru spear formation turns the charge stat of the attacker against them. At least the AI does not use that formation very often XD. (cause I could see some units almost melt when they meet the peasants):steamhappy:
Dancemaster 9000 5. jan. 2019 kl. 3:40
doesn't work with ikko ikki
SZEREGOWY KRASULAK 25. dec. 2018 kl. 9:17
Great wariety of skills but most of the "left side" skills are too strong, right side is generally balanced
Skakk 15. dec. 2018 kl. 7:12
Just got back into playing, and your mod was and is one of my favorite.
Dont know if your still modding, but I noticed The Ikko Ikki clan generals don't have access to your mod. At least when i play as them, dont know if the AI has access if I am another clan.
Would be great if you could check this, as Ikko Ikki are the only clan i haven't really played with.
I shall wait for a Ikko Ikki playthrough in anticipation of you ;)

Thanks for making a marvelous mod, I thought it was truly great in creating specialty generals. I would like to ask you a question though. In the 4 star general rank I noticed The Legendary Sensai 3rd rank provides you recruitment of The Great Guard. When I achieve this and use the general to ether garrison or simply go to the recruitment panel outside castle walls I do not see these Great Guards. I am surprised no one has commented on this. Can you please explain how this function works in detail as to how I get them? I also agree with Mister Square I have not seen any kind of economic boon from these. Thank you.
paco76620 15. aug. 2018 kl. 15:53
hello, what mod was used to change the image of the general? please
Gingernator 14. juli 2018 kl. 13:00
I think I'm having some issue with the mod. I took the full on chi path but I'm not seeing any economic buff like except for tax. And multiple general with the chi path don't seem to stat when I look at my research (capping at 175%). is it normal?
老痰酸菜小藓女 9. juli 2018 kl. 15:44
Thank you to make this mod,but this mod destroy the balance in game.
I play this game sufferly in this mod.
AI generals and AI solders become monsters in this mod.....too difficult.
Vuekuto 5. juli 2018 kl. 5:31
hey man im a big fan of this mod, like you put it it adds that perspective that every general is different to one another.

Now the down side, i think the general's trait buffs for units may be just phantom buffs. So for example i've discovered that if i had horsemen that had gold charge improvments and my general provided lets say 24 charge buffs from his traits. The horsemen in the general's army shows that they're gold charge is further improved. However, when i was in a battle i realised that when i looked at the horsemen's charge value the number was lower.

So long question short, horsemen show to recieve buffs from general but in the battle map their stats were lower.
Caladen 28. juni 2018 kl. 13:09
How did you change the portrait for your generals?
AstraL.ClawS 25. juni 2018 kl. 10:10
hi, does it work with ikko ikki because with not??
Bored2Tears 15. juni 2018 kl. 6:56
Does the instill fear trait morale damage stack? Like will a general with three levels into Terrifying General cause more morale damage than a general with level 1, or is it a flat thing?
luckymonkey  [ophavsmand] 12. juni 2018 kl. 2:09
I made this mod to allow players to custom their general more and as a result making each general more distinct from another.

My intention was to build a platform, a mod that people can change according to their taste and this is the reason why i did not bother too much with the balance of the mod.

I believe that most people who plays shogun 2 total war to this day knows how to use 'pack file manager' to tweak mods according to their taste.

If you don't know how to use pack file manager i strongly advice you to try it out and change my mod into something more compatible to you taste.
NouH 11. juni 2018 kl. 16:03
I like the addition and variety but this mod breaks balance too much, i played it for 3 battles and i removed the mod, way too broken, ashigaru units turning into gods at early game, charging my bow ashigarus into a melee blobs and racking more kills than vanilla katana samurai, worse yet is that it makes it much more unfair for the AI.

I think this was your intention in making the mod, to make it OP like a ''cheat'' mod, i guess there's people that like this kind of stuff, may be good nonetheless for that kind of people.
luckymonkey  [ophavsmand] 10. juni 2018 kl. 1:10
yeah if you use this with other mods that have custom skill tree then the two will overlap
Clearwood 9. juni 2018 kl. 19:33
Does anyone use this with Master of Strategy? If so do you get more than one skill tree overlapping each other? Doesnt look like the screenshot above in my game.

"Hey also may i ask if this mod is giving too little skill points?"
ZŌZŌ 29. apr. 2018 kl. 16:22
"Hey also may i ask if this mod is giving too much skill points?"

If this mod is normally adding a total of seven skill points, then yes. How's do we switch to five?
Additionally, THIS MOD IS AWESOME!!
Thanks, chief!
Yeazzal 26. jan. 2018 kl. 13:13
"Hey also may i ask if this mod is giving too much skill points?"

You can never have too much skill points!
Dark Luminary 20. jan. 2018 kl. 9:25
Hey i love the mod but is there a version that has some more skills for archers? from what i can see only the last 2 tiers have any archer bonuses
rocsage 19. nov. 2017 kl. 5:20
right. Ashikaga Yoshiteru or Nobunaga, for example. Both feared, either for martial prowess or cruelty, but both cut down in their prime by events below the "battle" caliber.
luckymonkey  [ophavsmand] 19. nov. 2017 kl. 2:38
I never updated my mods since i was too busy with social life but I have many different upgraded version that i use when i play the game it is better than the version i updated in steam. So if you want to try out some of these mods just let me know your email via steam and ill send it to you.

Thank you for enjoying my mods

yes negative affects are for game balancing and also for making the generals more diverse. I wanted to bring some balance to the game but as A.I. is weak in total war game this wasnt possible. This mod definitely works better when playing in multiplayer campaign.

And also yes for the second question it has been a while but the assasin magnet negative affects i believe, comes with fear affect that could break the game, enemy just run away when this genearl go near them, so it was for the purpose of balancing the game and for realistic elements.

For example, in real life if a general is confident in attacking then they most likely will be less confident in defending (unless ofcourse he or she is extremly talented in battlefield like few historical generals). Also if a general is terrifying he or she must have many enemy trying to kill him before he enters the battlefield,

rocsage 17. nov. 2017 kl. 18:28
works really nice, allows generals to truly diversify, and makes the general lv ups worthwhile.

a few questions:

a few of the trees impose negative affects, such as how charge tree reduces melee defense, second troop tree ending ability, hero vanguard, reduces melee attack--are these intended balancing measures?

one last thing is the terrifying general in honor tree: judging from the wording, it effectively turns the general into an assassin magnet; am I reading it wrong, or is the fear effect that powerful, or is it simply a balancing measure for a fear ability that is accessed at 4th star instead of 6th?
Silly Roy '3' 6. sep. 2017 kl. 14:15
if only this also worked for the ikko-ikki ._.
luckymonkey  [ophavsmand] 23. juli 2017 kl. 13:18

DeymPipes_ 22. juli 2017 kl. 23:18
Hello, I'm trying to port your mod to FotS, of course modifying stats and maybe removing some unnecessary skills. Can I have your permission to essentially copy most of the mods' contents?

Changes most likely include:
New localisations for skills
Changed skills to fit traditional and modern generals

Does this mod not apply to DLC factions? I'm playing a game as the Ikko Ikki and the NPC factions have the expanded skill tree, but I don't.

Only realized something was up when the Hojo formed an army with three 4 star generals and ended up being able to move farther than my ninjas every turn.

Does anyone know of a mod that basically does this but to the tech tree and adds new types of technologies
