Hi could you do something similar for the soviet side. I like to start in 1900 and use early start mods. i.e. Horse drawn excavators. But the next upgrade doesn't appear till 1949. I can't find any mods for excavators that fill in that gap.

Vehicle storages have height restrictions, for example the vanilla E-10011A excavator can fit in the vanilla large vehicle storage but not the small one because it's too tall. The heights used to be hidden but they're shown for at least the vanilla storages as of a recent update. As far as I'm aware there's no in-game way to find out the height of a vehicle or the height restrictions of an open hull though.

Thats a bit weird, the weight is identical so Im not sure where the problem can be

great excavators, but... the 88b excavator while in can be loaded one some large container ships it cannot be unloaded. The 88b crane, on the other hand, can be unloaded at a container port connected to the largest vanilla container storage/yard (will not unload in a small container storage).

Гусянка статична при движении, не критично, а вот для дальнего перемещения нет тралов под них вот это критично

The Oshkosh flatbed is the only thing I've found that can load the 88b

Im not really sure, there must be some heavy duty truck that could carry it, maybe MAZ or sth similar to that
Mesa 11 mei 2021 om 7:51
Do you know of any workshop flatbed truck, that can carry your 88b Excavator?
βlu∃_βrO  [auteur] 5 mrt 2021 om 23:16
Hello, currently Im staying away from trucks, so for the near future most likely not, sorry about that.

many thanx 4 pack ! is there any chance for include flatbed only version for construction offices?
there is a very shortage of excavators that do not drive on the roads themselves, but are brought to the facility by a flatbed truck and teleported home because of developers freaking (:

Thank you very much for the feedback! :)

Thanks For these. They worked great in my play through starting in 1935. The models and animations look great too.
ryantheskinny  [auteur] 6 feb 2021 om 14:15
i think they had them in the late 1800s early 1900s, steam driven ones of course

seem some cable crane still in service in 2000era
wonder from what era is the first ever ground mobile crane

From wikipedia: During the 1930s steam shovels lost out to the simpler, cheaper diesel-powered excavating shovels that were the forerunners of those still in use today. Open-pit mines were electrified at this time. Only after the Second World War, with the advent of robust high-pressure hydraulic hoses, did the more versatile hydraulic excavators take pre-eminence over the cable-hoisting winch shovels.

@tripodalt As far as we know it was a diesel or gas engine that powered an electric motor
skorpion1811 5 feb 2021 om 13:37
Как и всегда мод на высоте, Большое спасибо)
tripodalt 5 feb 2021 om 8:29
by combustion engine you meant a turbine steam boiler heated by coal or fuel
maybe not an modern electric generator with direct shaft to a gasoline fuel motor
ryantheskinny  [auteur] 4 feb 2021 om 12:54
The first two are based on a few examples of power shovels from the 1920s-40s while the 88b is an exact replica of a the Bacyrus-Erie 88b power shovel. Power shovels used an combustion engine to power an electric motor vs the steam shovels you often see from that time period.

USA produced these in the years that are indicated in game, so from 1920s to 1970s
tripodalt 3 feb 2021 om 23:56
what western country produced them and where they was in use?
when the hydraulic started and finished to replace cable systems

Not bad (VERY GOOD)

Unfortunately there is no code for vehicle production, game assigns and calculates that stuff itself without any input from us, so we will be on the lookout for any other crashes and act accordingly, thank you for letting us know and Im happy it resolved itself! :)
Thomas 31 jan 2021 om 18:47
Tried again. And game didn't crash. May be was some kind of glitch . But may be you guys can double check a code line with vehicle production. Just in case. I was in middle of 1939 if that can help .Thank you for a great mod.
Thomas 31 jan 2021 om 18:35
Modded. Vehicle production line(small) from Novich.
Let me try again.
ryantheskinny  [auteur] 31 jan 2021 om 17:49
Thats really strange. Are you using a modded or vanilla vehicle factory?
Thomas 31 jan 2021 om 16:57
Same crash with crane . Looks like that pack can not work with vehicle producing factory. Can you check it , please?
Thomas 31 jan 2021 om 16:49
Crash when clicking to buy a licence to produce excavator.
