Some maps (including miami sub) will intentionally have signals and switches that require the dispatch board to work. This is done for the purpose of realism and safety, so trains can't enter the mainline without passing through a bunch of reds if they didn't properly prepare a route, and to prevent people from throwing switches in front of someone else's train.

It is odd that wrefingley wasn't working though since it doesn't have a dispatch board. I have played that map before without an issue, did you perhaps have a train blocking the switch?

Okay, I just figured out a trick on how to get the switches to work. Go to Utilities>Admin>Cleanup>select Clean Up Everything. Doing that will allow the switches to throw manually.

Okay, that's what I thought, and I just discovered myself that this morning. The Miami sub won't let you throw switches, and I've tried everything I could think of to throw them, but gm_Wrefingley does, so it must just be an issue with Miami Sub then (and even then, I swear I've had issues in the past where switches wouldn't throw manually on Wrefingley either). I understand the Miami Sub is a w.i.p., but still, I feel like it would've been a pretty simple thing to at least make the switches be able to be thrown manually without a dispatcher panel.

@Shadowmus besides trainbuilders there are those who like to ride trains from CBH, SligWolf, or, if you don't care about realism, trains from the Metrostroi addon, so sorry, if you want Trackpak 3 to really become popular, please take into account the opinion of the majority that support the standard Gmod gauage, there are no addons for trains for the RSG gauage.

@mkc The whole point of this track pack is precisely to stray away from the old and oversized PHX gauge.
This new gauge, known as Real Standard Gauge or RSG, is the future of GMod Trainbuild.
You want to run stuff on these new tracks? Build it yourself.

This addon doesn't work because the track pieces are too narrow for Thomas and other train related addons. can you make a version where the track pieces are resized for those addons to work on?

for some reason Trakpak3 is creating errors and issues idk whats wrong with it. is it possible if someone that made this addon check it out?

So is there any fix for signals and switch stands being errors and having to reinstall TP3 every time you get on gmod? I hate having to reinstall it every time just to see those things, so if anybody knows what the problem is, please send me a message. Much appreciated!

Is there really not a single train mod anywhere on the workshop that fit on these rails? I'm not asking for something as polished as sigwolf, just SOMETHING :(

Magnum can i port Track pack to SFM, all of sfm train are using standart gauge track and theres a lot of track pieces to built maps

there is errors everywhere on the map even when i have mod installed it dosent help

this mod doesn't even work at all for some reason all the stuff just shows up as an error and I can't even switch the tracks

the tracks do not appear to be loading at all for any of these maps. Do I need additional addons for it to work properly? remove addons?

If you are complaining about maps having errors all over the place? Did you read the description of the maps? Because you might need to buy other games for the textures and props that are used in the map. Such as CSS, TF2, and Half Life.

A friend of mine is having serious problems as he can't see the track whatsoever.
He has subscribed to it and tried various fixes and he still can't see the trackage.

To me the railroad crossings seem REALLY tall, TOO tall in fact. I think it would also be nice if someone made versions that really worked via lua. Still, nice.

Wish there was a Trakpak 3B, for the older Trakpak's 2's gauge, as most communitys mods like CBH and Sligwolf's don't work on the track.
