seems the noise bug is still a thing and no repentagon+ yet. Any other potential fixes? In my instance I do not have profiler installed either

The last update added a new keybind to check your most recent item. For some reason it is bound to the map button on controller by default.

You can change it on your encyclopedia settings fairly easily.

idk why but encyclopedia opens when I enlarge the map with default controlle bind

Unfortunately yeah. when repentogon+ officially releases, I'll update to rep+ and investigate the issue myself, but until then we'll just have to wait.

It's a separate mod, if you don't know what it is, you probably don't have it installed.

Well I don’t know what mod profiler is, so I don’t know if it’s just part of this mod that I can disable, part of another mod, or part of the base game that I just didn’t know of its existence.

Well you can just not use mod profiler, it's not a mod designed to be on all the time, it's exclusively for debugging. As for the Rep+ thingy, no, I don't really work on this mod anymore so we'll have to wait until someone pushes a fix to the git.

Ah I see. So I assume there's nothing I can do for now? Considering both of those things seem out of my hands.

I have two hypothesis for this issue:
1. An already confirmed bug with Mod Profiler that forces inputs to be doubled for some reason, which causes issues with DSS Menu (though this might've been fixed in a new DSS version)
2. Rep+ wackies.

I'm sorry if you posted a solution for this elsewhere or keep getting comments about this, but I'm also getting the sound when I open the menu that can only be described as "conflicted keybinds trying to activate at the same time repeatedly". Just wanted to make sure this was known.

aside from the buzzing noise which i assume is rep+ related, when pressing esc in the encyclopedia menu, the menu become a little bit lighter. Its not necessarily hurting gameplay by any way but i just wish the creator knowing this. i run unintrusive menu and havent tried if it is still the case without it. Otherwise the mod is great even when i have eid i still have time wanting to look for something. Great apprieciation!

Whenever i open the encyclopedia menu there is an extremely annoying sound, like it's glitching out

вейп: Are you sure you updated the right keybind selection? It's under Dead Sea Scrolls -> Encyclopedia -> Settings -> Pad Last Pickup.

I found the controller keybind really annoying too, so I changed it on the menu and I don't have to worry about it anymore. At least on repentogon, the keybind setting works perfectly fine, though I don't see why it wouldn't work normally without it.

i am having a similiar issue. whenever i try to open the map the encyclopedia menu also opens at the same time. i tried uninstalling and setting another keybinds but nothing helps

Are you playing on ab+, rep, repentogon or rep+?

have tried verifying integrity of files, uninstalling all other mods and mod files in the Isaac folder, yet for some reason every time I open the encyclopedia i get a continuous loud sound and I can't seem to fix this issue no matter what I do :( mod is basically unusable unless I wanna endure the torture every time I open it

your latest update made GoodTrip[Repentance/AB+] mod unusable because every time i want to travel by pressing SHARE it opens your page! im gonging to disable your mod until that's fixed.

for some reason whenever I open the encyclopedia i now get a very quick looping sound effect like I am opening and closing another menu in the background of the encyclopedia. Anyone have this issue?

it's not always easy to use console, especially when playing using controller/on tv

That could be interesting but you can already spawn stuff through the console by doing "g itemname"

good mod, my only suggestion to make this mod better is to populate all stuff to have their item id, so if someone wants to spawn something in via console command they can easily look up the item id for the item.

Can this be updated for Rep+?

I have a bind on "C" button that is very convenient to me. Does anyone know how to unbind it from opening on "C" and only open on "F1"?

for me this mod is not compatible with repentagon and that's a real bummer

I seem to be having an issue. I can't open the Encyclopedia menu with either C or F1. I'm not sure if this is an issue concerning the compatibility with Rep+ or something else. I already tried uninstalling all mods and installing them again, but still it doesn't work. Has anyone had this problem before that could give me some indications on what to do? If it's an update problem, then I'm fine with waiting!

I have had issues with this mod, i got a doube UI popup and couldnt use the encyclopedia :( the 2.nd UI i got as a popup was this one but it was blank...
I did not play on REP+ i just have some default mods that only add characters, some visual changes and i have Repentogon installed and some characters that require it, so maybe Repentogon is causing issues with you mod, anyway heres my mod folder if you want to look at it:
