Okay, i've fixed it. The error no longer appears.

Just add an "end" where it's marked in bold, line 48 of poise2.lua if you are using Notepad++ (which i highly recommend) or even the default Notepad.

Hmm, I'll get back to you once I actually check the code out, instead of trying to speculate on a console error.
I wish gmod would reliably put the .gma's in the addons folder to make it easier, but oh well.

Poise2.lua, Line 49 has either a wrong symbol next to the ")" or it thinks what the ";" mark shouldn't be there. In the latter case, try to remove it and update the mod, then re-add it and update again, or try to load the mod without it first, and re-add it afterwards.

It works with XDR, but at start it says [Hurt animation / poise] lua/autorun/poise2.lua:49: unexpected symbol near ')'. Are you going to fix this?

incompatible with https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=111335690 (half life 2 settings) since after you get up the speed is reverted to gmod speed from hl2 speed
