Finally if you fix it maybe do two versions one that carries appropriate vanilla freight types /goods and one for the mail additional industry mod as users of that will have actual mail to deliver

OR maybe have it as a passenger train so it's just a faked mail train then make a mail train from a goods train for a funtional one? That's if the conflict is the passenger/goods thing and you can't fix it

Could crash be as game is still thinking it's a passenger train as it's a passenger train reskin I think? Not tested myself but saw comment below.

Also not a modder but maybe there's just an easy way to flag it as a goods train or if it doesn't work if passenger train with goods reskin is problem maybe it needs a duplicated converted to goods base mod so that it's a goods train being reskinned?
