It does not work on my existing save (41.78.16). The mod option appears on the main menu, but not in-game on an existing save.

THIS MOD DOES WORK!!! If you are playing in MP go to mods in the server settings, then go to mods, and add it too your mod list. THEN go to "workshop" tab (should be above mod) and add the mod to there as well. It worked for me! Cheers!

I use the books give xp mod and with this mod it gives me half a level of xp and than it stops does anyone know how to fix this or has a mod compatible with books give xp pls let me know

how does this work in multiplayer? does it sync the hosts settings to everyone on the server? or do you get to individually choose how fast you read?

HOW TO CONFIG:
You must do it in-game (with Mod Options mod in the game as well).
Pause, select "Options", go to tab "Mods", there you can set the speed and click "Apply".

Mod option work for me. You need to subscribe both of them and open up the Game Option on the menu. You will see the "Mods" tab that have this mod where you can adjust the speed

this works FINE for SOLO you just need click LOAD - MORE - CHOOSE MODS and enable this mod, you can also edit the lua file in workshop folder to tweak the reading speed

I have a question for the creator:
Is this mod compatible with the 2 mods called "Cat's Faster Reading Mod" and "Cat's Walk While Reading Mod"? Because at least with the 2nd mod that allows you to read while walking, when I have its mod activated and I want to walk, the reading action is canceled (I have its mod at 100x when I read) I don't know if that has anything to do with it

Mod works fine in multiplayer but not in singleplayer for some reason

My server has been having a reading issue while using this mod. After leveling players will have negative xp in a skill. If they read a skill book and then level past zero it cancels the reading multiplier. This is the only mod I can imagine is contributing to this issue. Is anyone else having similar experiences?

Ok, I was wrong. Didn't know that you have to activate new mods (two in this case) for a specific save by pressing the 'More...' button. Now it works fine.
