i finally managed to stabalise my ever-hungry group of characters and pets, and was able to find and buy a 7+k cats blueprint for saltmining :)

i was able to learn the tech, and build a salt mine (near about 70% prospecting value of stone), as well as the packing table and the other building,

i have all of the required mods in this mod page, but i can mine salt, but it doesnt seem to fit or be accepted in the table which processes it?
its like its a 6x2 icon trying to fix into a 2x2 (or vice versa) i can take a picture if it helps?

Can I use this mod without using one of the aforementioned prerequisites? I'm using everything except for oil.mod

@mahatmadandy that one uses something called 'cactus salt', dries cactii as a source for salt. This mod is a companion mod to my molten salt solar power unit. It requires crude salt to operate. If it was a real thing, drying cactii would produce table salt, but not the crude salt the molten salt system needs. However you cannot produce salt from cactii in real life. That makes it a creative product, art. To make that mod fit I would have to erase that creativity of the mod's creator and remove the Cactus Salt altogether. Maybe if the maker would agree, but as is, there is no need to for making the solar panel work. Let's argue the Cactus Salt has a distinctive taste and is thus a mandatory part of the recipe. :)
