It works but sometimes it breaks and i have to drop the item the flare is holding and then it works again
EvilStew 31. dec. 2023 kl. 13:42
once more broken lol but cool idea

all of my thanks i really love remote factories
cynthion21x  [ophavsmand] 3. feb. 2023 kl. 8:05
thanks for letting me know ill work on fixing it

Is broken again flares just wibble wobble between base and smelter. i under stand if you no longer play and this will no longer get updates.

What do you have to mod to make this work with other ships, like mega for example?

Like a charm. Thanks for making a smoothlobe coder like myself to become more deadly.

i have completely remade the schematic, so far i haven't had any problems using it i hope it works for all of you as well ^.^

You are beautiful. I won't load lead, or perhaps one item per comments, but I can do one track of lead easy AF. Bless the maker.
ShiZbanG 20. jan. 2022 kl. 23:29
the flares won't load titanium but load the other three resources
Red Leicester Cheese 24. aug. 2021 kl. 4:39
also whenever i reload some of the flares are not assigned to processors so it doesnt function
Red Leicester Cheese 23. aug. 2021 kl. 6:29
there appears to be a bug where the processors dont pick a flare even when i have more flares than i can count available not sure if this is known or not but it happens sometimes and i dont know why even so good design

Your welcome :) I hope your next schematic does well

I understand that MLogic can only be coded with "spaghetti code". I think the highest form of flattery is imitation, and I have imitated this schematic:

Thanks for your work!

i seem to have found another bug, now when i get back onto my sectors the units bound to this schematic do no longer work as the coding intended and goes back to being a normal flare. rebuilding the schematic does not fix it, so it only works until you exit the game or move sectors. i think the spaghetti code is breaking itself. pls fix
cynthion21x  [ophavsmand] 27. mar. 2021 kl. 6:22
I have also fixed the bugs mentioned by Weszles
cynthion21x  [ophavsmand] 27. mar. 2021 kl. 6:16
i found out why the lead drone was broken and have now fixed it and updated the schematic

The lead flare is broken. pls fix

There is one more bug in the code: when having 7+ microprocessors active, if you save and quit, it doesnt always pick up the bound flare when you resume the game. The microprocessor is then stuck in a loop, and can only be fixed by "rebooting" the microprocessor.

There is one more bug in the code: when all flares have been flagged (rebooting microprocessors flag new ones) but are not bound to any microprocessor, the microprocessors that have had flags updated will never bind a new flare until all flare flags are reset to zero.

I dont have a fix for either yet.
Weszles 16. feb. 2021 kl. 0:23
There is one more bug in the code: when building 7+ microprocessors in sandbox, they are all instant builds and it is common for a flare to be assigned two flags at the same time with them continuously overwriting each other and being worthless to at least one of the microprocessors.

The fix is to make the "if unit is not null" jump statement only jump the bind statement (and therefore check the flags).

Thank you for finding this bug i have now updated the schematic
SaltedBeardedBard 21. jan. 2021 kl. 19:38
There's a bug in your code, the if flag not NULL jumps need to be == cause otherwise you're jumping when the flag is set and the rest of the code never runs to move the Flare.

It bound the flares but they weren't doing anything so code works once that line's changed in all the processors.
cynthion21x  [ophavsmand] 12. jan. 2021 kl. 9:30
sometimes it fails to bind all flares. make sure you have enough flares before you place it. and sometimes you might have to delete it and replace it. this has rarely happened to me when i use it though and i cant seem to find the cause for the problem sorry
TsProphet 12. jan. 2021 kl. 7:13
it also only binds two flares not the 5, sorry im really bad at code so im looking for schematics so dont know how to debug by looking at the code
TsProphet 12. jan. 2021 kl. 7:12
ive built these in sandbox to test however they do not seem to deliver led
