Hello! I may be remembering wrong but I believe Banished had all of their sprites hidden in a compressed file, which I extracted and afterwards I dont remember what else it was a whole process to get it working but once I did it was rather easy. I haven't done much Banished modding recently nor have I played/had installed for some time, but I believe modding meshes should be possible, the thing is if I remeber correctly Banished uses only 2 meshes for all human type entities menaning you would be changing all villagers. If you or anyone else is interested in doing their own sprite work, send me a friend request and dm me your e-mail adress, I'll send you ready to edit files with a (hopefully) better tutorial.

I'm curious how you were able to edit the villagers' appearances? I had tried to look for this but wasn't able to find this. Are you able to also edit some of their meshes, like with buildings?

Uneducated children, that would be laborer, are able to study. they go to the nearest school and get their education. That is hardcoded. Not sure about adults. But I guess after a certain age you're stuck with uneducated nomads... :(

The first one is probably hardcoded so no, and the table might be possible but it would require much more skill and I picked up Banished modding four days ago.
But I can try creating the second one (no promises)

Can uneducated residents be sent to study? Is it possible to make a table of all residents with their characteristics (date of birth, age, health, education, marital status, profession, place of work and residence, tools, clothing)?

I am still new to Banished modding scene so I am not yet familiar with everything. What sort of mod are we talking?
