@GG01 Hi. The orbis terranum mods probably change some of the same aspects of the game, so that causes problems like the ones you described. You can try to move this mod to the bottom of the mod manager in the game launcher, and if that doesn't fix the problem it's best to disable one of the mods so that the conflict between them ends.

hello, your mods seem to have a problem whit the orbis terranum mods, the units have black faces, no spears or shields and they look ugly. This also happens whit the rest of your overhauls. (sorry for the crapy english, im peruvian)

I've got some ideas for new units for the Dacians. If you're interested let me know!

Funnily enough the Dacians actually used silver in helmets, but it was probably very uncommon. I've updated the mod now so that the lancers and armoured spears still have their spangenhelms, while the cheaper units have had the shiny helmets removed.

Thanks for answering! Please don't get me wrong, the Spangenhelm looks great on the Armoured Spears, but on the Heavy Bowmen and Heavy Spears the silvery Skullcap sticks out a lot, compared to the Leather armour they are wearing.
In my opinion the Helmet should be reserved for higher tier units, but of course it is your Mod.

Hi Nummer90. I included two kinds of spangenhelm for the Dacians since they used that type of helmet historically. If you prefer, I can remove the shiny one. I don't mind changing it.

Thanky you so much for adding then iconic Draco Standard and the hats to the Dacians! they look awesome. Only Question, why did you add those overly shiny Helmets to the mid tier-Spears? They stick out alot.

This will make a fine addition to my collection.

it would be great then an iberian mod for hispanic factions xP (as a spaniard they need it), also a mod that reskin the hellenik and greek units would be great :D

@Rai300[ESP] I'm glad you like them. When I get ideas or see things that need to change, I begin working on a mod. I'm going to put out a small mod for Attila that fixes some ugly things on the Nordic and Saxon units. After that I will look at improving the Iberian units in Rome 2.

@Jake Armitage Hey, and thanks for the invite. I'll take a look.

are you going to create more reskin mods? they are awesome

@{LUD} Invade Me The Dacians and their Thracian neighbours spoke closely related languages, but in warfare the Thracians were more influenced by Greek armour and weapons, while the Dacians seem to have been more influenced by Celtic craftsmanship, and also used scale armour and spangenhelms similair to the Sarmatians who, in the Dacian Wars, served as cavalrymen for the Dacians.

@Naughteous Maximus They probably won't work together, since DEI makes a lot of big changes to units.

@Yews lmao :winter2019joyfultearssnowman:

Bropotkin, you seem to know about history. I have a general history question unrelated to this mod.

The Thracians and Dacians... What was the biggest difference between the two? Other than Dacians being more celticized Thracians and I suppose more into cavalry?
Naughteous Maximus 1. jan. 2021 kl. 13:57
Will this mod work with DEI?
