I tried something like this, but it's causing it to activate Spell 1 (Alt+1) instead of the Ability 1 (Ctrl+Alt+1). Please help!

Quick question if you don't mind:

If I want to bind them to F1 through to F6 instead, what do I need to change in the AHK script? Or do I need to change the .lua file too?

I'm thinking maybe just add some lines to the AHK so F1 through to F6 now simulates Ctrl+Alt+1-6, but I'm not sure what the commands are.

Hi, tried this mod, for some reasons it simply not reacting, maybe im doing something wrong? Downloaded from dropboxes, it started to be active in the tray, and nothing happening.

The dropbox link should work fine, just close the popup and press the download button.

or you can directly run the script by installing autohotkey on your pc and then running the ahk script

If you're using the exe you have to run it every time, it's just a program, nothing gets installed when you run it.

I made the Ctrl+Alt+1-9 versions, I think you're right in that they work better.

@prop joe I see, thanks for the reply, huge shame that this is something CA can't just add to the game - with WH being for once in CA's history the game with significant multiplayer community - one would think CA will give a shit and at least allow some hotkeys to be created.

If I could do it without an external program, I would. I don't like this solution either, believe me, but it's not actually possible to do it otherwise.

You can add the exe/script inside your startup folder so you don't have to run it manually every time. Win+R, type "shell:startup" to open the startup folder. It's a tiny program/script so won't really consume any resources when running.

@prop joe Been writing about this issue like ages ago ... with CA zero response in the subject and zero fixes years later. Good job - though is there a way to simply add it without external programs? add it to the menus?

A suggestion: could you make the control scheme ctrl+alt+numbers? It's much easier to use your pinky and thumb to press the combination and your index finger for the number. With the current keys your index finger's mobility is rather restricted. Thanks for the awesome mod.
