If I had one suggestion, it would be to switch the big battery place with the O2 gen. as bottles can't pass small connections, and the only O2 access is on the bottom of the rover.
I removed some armor behind the ladder to get access to the big port of the O2 after the switch =)
I'll put my trailer on the workshop soon =)
@Echo Mande - It's been really nice having someone with experience critique this build, I'll be spending more time on function instead of just form on future builds. I'm really pleased with how it has turned out now.
One (well, two) further change you could make is to change the blocks immediately next to the hinges to small conveyor junctions (the small conveyor cubes). The effect would be to plumb the hitch into the conveyor system and to let users connect trailer systems to the rover's conveyor system without grinding the trailer's (only) hitch connection. Things like hydrogen tanks, cargo containers, H2/O2 generators etc come to mind. Imagine having a hydrogen engine in your rover and towing one of these with you to keep it fed (without using the on-trailer engine).
Big thumbs up to Echo Mande.
The hinge was original placed this way as I thought it would damage the Connector the other - running some tests and this isn't the case so I may update later today. The spare wheel also makes a lot of sense.
One change I would make however is to swap the horizontal and vertical hitch hinges around. Swapped around the horizontal movement is moved away from the tractor, reducing risk of impact, and unhitching the vertical hinge makes it less likely that the hitch link will flop around even without using timer blocks to hitch/unhitch.
Additionally, swapping the hinges makes this vehicle compatible with the trailers being made by Taidyr , Smokki and Spite . This is especially the case if your tractor's hitch hinge is plumbed into the conveyor system.
