I have even but a button on the truck menu to see if that works, but still the same problem. And buy the way the system that I use to keep the two units inline with each other is very simple, first I drop the trailer, the I build a wall around three sides with an extension long enough for to keep the truck strait, then drive the truck backwards to met the trailer. So the alignment's is not the problem here, as there is something else casing this?
I presume you are having a hard time reversing the vehicle so that the hinge parts line up properly? It can take some practice but by viewing the rear camera while carefully reversing, it should be easy enough after some practice. You could also at first hop out of the vehicle to check out if it's properly lined up and then try to slowly reverse again until you get familiar of how it should look from the camera.
I'm wondering how a variant with a survival kit and O2 gen would look and work. One of those, a trailer and a Plutus would be everything needed to start a base, moveable by one person in one trip.
