Hello, i don't think runic changed anything in the pc version. Maybe the console version is more rewarding. I still have to add the chests for new game plus, some day i will.

I don't know if synergies mess up with the loot table. Put my mod on top of the priority list.

If it adds a new tier of items I don't know if my mod will spawn them, since it's probable that the mod you mention edits the drop/loot table.

@op Do you happen to know if this mod is compatible with the 'Ancient Items' mod? It adds a new tier of weapons similar to uniques, and I was wondering if these items will be able to spawn from your boss chests.

@blueadamantine I can start the game with the mod just fine. Also, as far as i know, TL2 didn't receive any updates recently. I can suggest you to change the order of the mods or using a compilation that already includes my mod, like TL2 Essentials.

The game crashes when I start it with this mod. Also the system tells me that it is not updated to the latest version of the game. Advice?

Oh, ok. I think Chillhoof, the boss of the Alchemist's Notes side-quest in Icedeep Caverns, has one of the same chests, and I noticed it didn't drop one either. Thanks for your help, it's always a fun experience when a dev (even of a small mod) keeps in touch with his users.

@Starch_Contrast, now that I remember, the Widow's chest calls for a special spawnclass, a very specific one that I think drops an eye or something, that's why I didn't change it.

The Forgotten Chest found after defeating the Winter Widow in the Widow's Veil quest didn't drop a unique. I don't know if it was supposed to or not, since this is just a sidequest, but it IS a boss chest (Widow has the orange health bar and everything), so I thought I'd mention it.

Totally worth it, as huge boss chests used to be practically useless and unrewarding. This makes me feel good every time I clear a dungeon or boss, which should be the normal.

It will as long as Synergies doesn't mess with the files I modified. Just to be sure, put my mod in a higher priority than Synergies.

Did you know that I got this game around March, 2014?

And now here we are almost 3 years later... I've learned so much on how to advise a certain mod pack author on which mods to use together after so much trial and error!

It's nice to finally give something back to those whom have worked to make this modded game where it is today...

We look forward to your activities in the future!

Although you could just relax this summer and we would still be requesting usage of your mod haha.

All the boss chests reset in vanilla...the regent's was the only one which didnt due to a scripting error.

@Question: What you mean with respawn? All the ornate chests don't reset to avoid farming.

For some reason the regent's boss chest isn't respawning along with the boss...the boss respawns, but i can never open the chest again.

Fungal Caves - Floor 2 's 'Ornate Chest' only dropped 2 pieces of blue gear just now for me. May be one of those missed.

I don't remember EXACTLY what I did, If I recall correctly, the layouts are intact. I just modified the spawn classes of every dungeon in the original campaign (Not new game plus, but I'm working on it). The layout per se is intact in distribution, and orientation of exits and entrances.
