Please we need an update, I played for so long why I didn’t know this existed

Just waiting for someone to eventually pick this up, this franchise is gold and could honestly be so sick in CK3 format

Shame we didn't get 1.13 as that would have allowed it to be playable with Roads to Power DLC. Always wanted to be an adventurer/mercenary/wanderer of sorts in Stormlight Archive books but it is what it is I guess, it's very understandable why the development stopped and can't blame him for it

@Grimble Gromble Hopefully someone at Dragonsteel plays CK3 and sees the demand for a Stormlight video game. Brandon has said he'd like to work on a game, and a Stormlight RPG would go hard imo

@Nosta99 it says at the top of the mod page "the mod will not be updated to 1.13 or later versions of CK3 unless someone else takes over development." - so until that happens (someone taking over) we're probably out of luck.

No preassure but is there a possibility this mod will be made compatible for the latest version of the game or at least a more recent one?

On a more serious note; can anyone help with the development of this mod so that it may continue to get updates and get more features added? Being a landless adventurer would be a nice take to this mod.

Hard to believe... Except with that guy, well, not really that hard. I remember him from the Paradox forums. Worse social skills than a moody teenager.

Don't know why Paradox even let him post on the forums. He just embarrassed the company.

Still, gotta give credit where credit is due. I had a lot of fun playing the AGOT mod on CK2. :)

I've told the story several times on the discord.

Basically "blackninja" hated my guts because of what I was doing in the modding community, which meant both using and teaching other people to use janky methods he didn't like us using. He hated that I got credit for helping modders solve problems with "his" scripting language.

After he left Paradox he got hired at Mojang, where some of my RL friends work. At an after-work party they got to chatting about me, then he took my friend's phone and started threatening me and my family and sending extremely cringe messages to my partner. When he was rejected he got angry and demanded some random female colleague bring him a new beer. When he was told to fetch his own beer he smashed his glass on the floor in anger.

So yeah, turns out I've had a cringetastic nemesis without knowing it for several years.

No. Landless came in 1.13, and it's a big reason why I'm not updating to 1.13. It's just too much work to make compatible.

just asking, i know nothing of programming so this might be a dumb question, but could making the landles rulers unplayable be a possible quick fix for the latest version of the game?

While I may add a few events here and there based on events in WaT (Particularly to flesh out Shinovar) I'm not planning on letting it go that far, no. First and foremost the goal is to play CK3 on Roshar, so it's gotta stay sandboxy. And the mod might never go past 1.12.5 because solo implementing landless gameplay in a total conversion mod is an absolute nightmare of a chore.

fix the damn fishing, im not trying to break my fingers every time i want to catch a fish, speaking of catching a fish, you CANT unless you get an auto clicker because the bar goes down insanely fast, these mini games are a terrible addition.

@keatonkraft, this mod only runs on 1.12.1, so you'll need to revert your game to that

I have never been able to get this mod to work... Does anyone have any advice? I am really wanting to try it with WAT coming out tomorrow!

this is a fantastic mod and the greatest way to experience any part of the cosmere in game form (the only way i know exists).

Personally I wish to add some stuff to the map like islands and such (which I am good with) but idk if you would let me or of such

Absolute legend. Just finished reading the way of kings and am racing through the next book. Im losing my mind to see it has now been crossed with my other obsession of ck3.

First of all beautiful mod, it's obvious the amount of thought and effort that has been put into it, thank you!! Just some glitches I found: The stormform being enabled immediately rule doesn't seem to work and the parshendi have to be feudal as well. Also I'm not sure if it works for others but it seems the highstorm doesn't work.
