Always wanted to get into rimworld modding, you would not mind if i were to attempt to recreate this with the customization mods available in 1.4 right? of course with proper crediting and all that

Not knowing anything about modding rimworld, i have to ask. How hard would it be to get your icon bits in a photoshop layered file so we can mix and match them outside the game, then save the image, and just make a standalone weapon to drop into our game? as it seems tinker will never update to 1.3. I guess the question is how hard is it to make a weapon for this game? is it a simple xml file with stats and a link pointing to an icon file? and if so can we use your icons to make them?

These are easily the best-looking mod weapons I've seen in Rimworld. Are you interested in making any pulse-rifle tech variants to make them viable in the end-game of Rimworld?

@Jonyx2 - thats probably a mod conflict with the texture , I see this issue pop up sometime for people but I cant really point out which mod is causing it.

This mode is great !
but i have a visual problem, weapon in game when pawn use it shown without any addons but on ground or in pawn inventory its looks fine
How do i fix that ?

Hmmm it's seems having the bench to close to a corner and another bench was the problem. I moved it to a free space and it's working now. Weird.

Strange bug. When ever my pawns finish making a weapon it just disappears after being placed. Thoughts?

@Ghost993514 - Problem with setting them having their default attachments is that when other pawns spawn with the guns they will always spawn with those attachments and disable the random generated attachments

When starting with these weapons, do you think it would be possible to set a 'standard' where it always starts with X attachments? Or perhaps start out stock?

@Battlefleet Covfefe - Tinker`s the framework that add necessary codes to enable weapon modding while mods like mine only add item that make use of the thing.If you have some experience in XML you can check out my mods and see what did I used. Without Tinker`s Construct my mod is basically useless.

Even the part that makes a weapon have a secondary fire in CE? Tinker's construct only seem to give weapon mods.

@Battlefleet Covfefe - Hello , actually those features are from TInker`s Constuct as my mod only add items in that make use of his framework. I highly suggest you go talk to him if you want it to be a thing in CE officially.

Hey, one of the testers for CE here, I noticed that you could make a weapon come with a secondary fire ability(grenade launcher), I'm wondering if it is possible that you upstream this capability to CE itself.
This would really really help future compatibility of other weapons thanks!

@Tittymcswaggy I took one day and updated my mod list. Probably the conflict was in the mod order and not in the mods itself, but i solved the problem though. Thank you anyway!

I cant mod any guns,it just shows the base weapons like the bow etc

@Zeus751/Baracca[Pte. Red Devils] - You should try doing a scan on your modlist by start a new game and remove mods that you think it has issue till you found one. Sadly I cannot help in finding the exact issue because there are just so many mods out there and this is mainly a problem with Tinker`s Construct as my mod only add items in while using that mod`s accessories framework.

A little update, just saw that I can't build the modular weapons anywhere.. I can build the attachements but not hte base weapon. Is there any issues with the TMC base weapon (sidearms and ALL in ONE CE comp.) ?

IAR MK 18, Bought the weapon from a trader. The mag is assembled but the weapons just doesn't work with CE (Regularly installed and working with other weapons). It just shoots bursts of 3 bullets and never reloads. Any ideas or help in how to solve this problem?

@Killstreak - there are some conflicts with others mods which I`m not sure which or how many but you can try use this with them.

Can I use this magnificent!! mod with other mod weapons or should I only use your modpack as the primary and only weapon expansion? (except ce since you said it is compatible with ce)

@zapper - Could be a mod conflict as this issue tend to happens with some mods

@KillSwitch - Currently only Community Pack is supported but other weapon pack will be supported soon along with retexture.

Whenever a colonists completes a weapon or attachment on the weapons bench the weapon never spawns. I can spawn the weapons and attachments using dev console however.

@[75th] GoldenBoi - There are some mods that make Tinker`s Construct not rendering the attachments on gun.

Are the modifications on the Mk18 supposed to not show up when the pawn carrying it when drafted? Or is this something only I am experiencing?

@Tittymcswaggy I've checked with other mods for incompatibility and it was Kurin HAR that was causing the problem since it worked completely fine with normal pawns even having Kurin installed. Thanks for sparing your precious time and also thanks for making this mod. It's one of the best mods I can't play Rim without.(I really regrets I didn't test it before posting here)
