I just noticed that the heart symbol in the "Who am I?" menu has a single line of pixels cut off on the left side, I'm never gonna unsee that now.

When playing as Bentran when I close the game and try to continue a run the game crashes every time

How do i stop blowing up with tainted bertran

This character is amazing, but I’m having trouble with the “Bind Spin Key” option. I use a Steam Deck to play (Repentagon and all the other necessaries are installed), and whenever I try to bind spin to a key (in this case button), the menu freezes. To be clear, the game doesn’t freeze, I just can’t move the cursor on the menu anymore, nor exit the Bertran Mod Options menu.

I'd rather the whole Chapter 3 to be released ;-;

found a bug,when i was playing as bertran i was fighting a boss and then the head just flew away from the arena and it killed the boss very quickly idk why that happend.

Where's his head

I fixed it. Had to update a line of code that called on Bertran as an entity delivering the damage to the grid. If anyone else comes here with this same issue I can help.

I'm having a bug where when I fling in the general direction of a poop, instead of hitting it the head just flies off screen and appears to never stop going, making it impossible to attack or do anything. Still able to destroy fires just fine but poops ruin him until I leave the room. Anyone else seen this or have a possible fix?

Bertran is my favorite character to play out of all the modded, unmodded, tainted, and untainted characters i have played, As i love characters with unique and skill based fighting mechanics. And Bertran fits both. With the way all of his attacks synergize with each other, it makes him both look awesome and feel awesome to play. And i love finding small things to give you an edge in game. Like the way Bert can squeeze diagonally past rocks with his fling. I'm even going to get a controller just for this character. A more serious/unique tainted version would be nice but i would understand if this is all Bert is supposed to be. Thanks for creating this gem of a character :D

@Ǵ̶͓̂͑lí̴̤̀̄́tcĥ̸ Have you tried spinning Bertran's head to get a farther throw?

Awesome character, however I have come across a couple impossible rooms. Namely, rooms with the wall spider type enemies that are across a chasm or water and the distance is too far for Bertran to reach. If you reach one of those rooms and have no bombs to blow a door, there's no way out nor a way to beat the room.

So whenever I play as Bertan, go through a few floors, quit the game, and then come back to continue, the game would crash. Anyway to prevent this?

@Hyper MiniMAPI runs sub-optimal and clashes with the game quite easily when you play with quite a few mods

use MiniMAPI, has same teleporting system

Good Trip mod doesn't work with Bertran :(

@Duckly Dan You were likely playing as Tainted Bertran, who is intended to be a joke, & you have to constantly use their Fling move to survive. Play as regular Bertran instead if you want to actually enjoy playing as them.

bertran made me play a whole ddr match just to kill 3 enemies 10/10

So I load into my run. enter a room, try to swing away at enemies...... Then Bertran just up and dies and I lose the run........ THe TUtorial and this mod page is not telling me what is going on and why this keeps happening.....

how to fix the head of Bertran not working:
the game has 3 profiles, to simplify, lest's call them A, B, and C.
if you're on profile A, and Bertran has no head, try playing with Bertran on profile B or C, try it on any profile you haven't played before
