this is the most beautiful thing ever I attach it to my boats and planes that dont have a nav system but what i do is keep the important stuff and i attach a 2x2 monitor to whatever and wire it properly and make sure to merge the navigation system to your building or else it wont turn on

what if I connect my seats composite to it, what happens?

Weird, it is not showing up in subscribed micro controllers for me, or the workshop section in the micro controller editor. I even tried restarting the whole game with no luck.

Does anyone know a workaround or something I may be missing?

To clarify: If current distance is less than my Property setting and the AP system is On then turn it off. Might switch it back to ETA instead of distance so it works between waypoints. My current setup above will stop at each waypoint.

I added an AND onto the AP On/Off going into the MC and at the true state for the distance less than property value. Now it works perfectly and shuts off the AP system at the end of the route.

Requesting permission to upload so other Jet boats can use it. The one posted here doesn't not work on jet boats out of the box.

I realize now there is a duplicate Composite read channel #5 which is the map left and not the On/Off which is also on channel 5...

Still working on getting it to actually stop at the end and shut off the whole AP system.

Using this on a jet boat the MC doesn't stop at the end. The throttle goes close to zero but never turns off so the boat does circles and goes faster and faster until it crashes. This is after it reaches the end WP. Trying to add in a shutoff is causing more issues. Now the map is permanently scrolling left... I didn't touch those logic connections.

The location point of the ship diplays at the starter island instead of the real location.

For whathever reason, when I plug this on a 3x3 screen the islands don't show right. They lose the contours and are impossible to identify on the screen by their shape. For example, creative island is missing the characteristic runway "spine".

Also, if you decide to give it a refresher, It would be nice to be able to switch from day to night with a command on the touchscreen.

so im having problems with this, i have connected the steering to a numerical switchbox and everything works, but everytime i put the autopilot on i have to guide it to the waypoint manually and since my ship is big it sometimes does a circle constantly and nothing else even it theres a waypoint, you should really fix these problems

I'm having a strange issue integrating this system into a helicopter (I have successfully done 2 choppers before). When activated the system would roll back and forth and spin in a slow circle and, it wouldn't plot the line on the map. I re-imported the entire model with all the controls still connected, connected the outputs to the gyro and it worked fine. I started connecting each controller back to the controls in the helicopter and found the issue started when I moved the keyboard. For whatever reason when I change keyboards the whole system stops working and I can't figure out why. Any help anyone can provide would be much appreciated, thanks.

Could you add a 'Total distance for all waypoints' and ETA for total distance?

Ok good news, I was able to get the AP working all that stuff. But for some reason when I turn on AP switch it doesn't light the indicator even though I have the right composite channel which is 9.

Does this work with planes?

for some reason it steers fine until I engage the AP then the steering of the AP is inverted

Yah you have the option to change the colour by selecting the controller

So far this seems very good, but is there a way to use an external throttle? I don't want my helm to control the engine throttle, I have a separate lever, but the microcontroller input is only composite. is there a way to get this to work?

Trying this out, as soon as I enter coordinates the system turns on and starts piloting my ship to the location, without the "AP ON" switch on or the indicator turning on, I can turn away, but the AP turns me back, upon reaching the way point there seemed to be no "OK I'm done, turning off" as it was already off? Everything is connected exactly as shown on the example vehicle - am I just dumb?
