Yes. You have too many assets for your machine to handle loading the game with all of them. Are you subscribed to any other Collections or large amount of other Assets? If so, try unsubscribing from assets and/or Collections you don't intend to use with any specific city you are making.

When I first started playing this I would always make one massive modern city with everything I liked in it. Soon I also had the problem where my machine could not load all the assets and the game would crash at launch.

That is what made me get into creating District Styles. My idea was to make a certain kind of city, say Poor Tropical Island, and have all the assets I needed for that city held in the Cloud, in a Collection and associated District Style, so I could save the game, unsubscribe from all the assets any time I wanted, and know I could resubscribe and reload that game any time I wanted to go back to playing a Poor Tropical Island.

I downloaded the district and all the assets in it, waited for it all to download and it won't load any games, instead it keeps crashing. Any suggestions

once you have all the assets, launch the game. When playing, paint a District Style and assign this, and it will start to work. There are a lot of Unique buildings in the Collection (not growables) that complement the look, and you can user mods like Force Level Up and other mods to give you greater control of Districts (such as forcing all buildings in a district to be Historical so they won't change appearance and/or forcing all new growables to be Historical). Also, the game has a bug where some growable assets assigned to District Styles will not grow in those Districts, so you might experiment with leaving some areas with no District Style assigned and use your bulldozer and/or the Force Level Up mod to check the different sizes and levels of various growable buildings, to make your city grow as you want it to look.

it is above, where it says "in one collection" the words Sleek Future are a link to the Collection. Go there, click Subscribe to All then launch the game when it is done. It will take awhile.

i changed my district stye but for some reason it doesnt work. is there something that i could do to fix it?

Hi Waffles; the Update button is missing in the game, so no one can update any District Style. This is going on two years now that the dev was made aware on Steam, Discord, and on Paradox, and still no fix. Until then there can be no changes to this (or any other published) Style since its last update.

Also, be sure you have subscribe to all of the items in the collection linked above, otherwise you will not have any assets associated with the district style

Painting large areas is not great when using custom assets because the game prefers to spawn 4x4 assets and corner assets almost exclusively when you just paint an area

Try painting, small, isolated sizes, such as one by two, 2 x 3, 2 x 4, etc. and letting those grow and then filling in the space is beside them or using props to create private yards, whatever you prefer

Also, please note, this is a very high density heavy style and has just a few low density assets, especially for residential

The low density assets that it does have are smaller homes, so definitely use smaller sized zoning instead of painting a whole area. Let me know if that works.

im having trouble with a certain asset, on the high end residential building it wont upgrade past lvl 1, and its the only building being built

It’s true but if you paint smaller sizes you can make other assets grow. I would love to update this style with more growables but Paradox has still not fixed the broken “update button missing” issue that they were made aware of many months ago. Currently no one can update any District Style, and can only update other assets by using a —refreshWorkshop pre-launch command that doesn’t always work.

Its a good District Style but you need to get rid of one asset. Which is the modern villa because it cant be leveled up even if you have the force level up mod it still wont do it. So all your high density buildings will be just a small box house.

You likely have too many assets. Are you subscribed to more than the items in this large Collection? This is just a list of assets — it can’t “crash” your game unless you just don’t have enough RAM to load all of the assets you’re subscribed to.

Don: definitely office assets included. Not sure why you’re not seeing a change; but you can also use the game’s vanilla high tech office district setting to help.

Pizza: no; run LSM and find your error report and see when it is crashing; what’s it doing? Does it give a specific error message?

Are you subbed to a lot of other assets + this Collection? What mods are you running?

So many variables as to why you could crash on load…your error report is key to understanding why and fixing.

It's fantastic.Unfortunately, office buildings keep their original design. I don't why. I have only Sleek Future style, Industrial reworked and the European Vanilla which cannot be uninstalled.

DON"T DWNLD FROM IN GAME. Click the Collection linked above, Subscribe to All, after it is done, launch and enjoy. This will contain all assets that you need - be sure to check the linked Collections at the bottom of the Collections page for extra cims, vehicles, etc.

when i install it and click on 'subscribe to all' in the styles menu in content manager half of the assets are labeled as missing and i cant use them ingame. i've been trying to subscribe to the missing assets one at a time but they require a lot of different mods, is this supposed to be happening?

seeing m4gic packs auto hypes me up since that means they are like 99% likely to work

all of them. The Collection is meant as a standalone. I have added a few more growables that are not yet in the District Style (it is so tedious to update a District Style, but I will get around to it) so you might want to play around with making some areas in the Style and some not, using your bulldozer and "make historical" tool to capture the right assets when they grow.

No, i want someone who has absolutely flooded the districts style to maintain the packs they have created. So far every pack i have tried of yours has returned dozens, sometimes hundreds, of errors according to loading screen. I would love to use your packs, and assets if they didn't return errors. "own lack of humanity and self esteem" you are so humble dude, youd give drax a run for his money on how humble you are. You really need to learn how to speak to people when they encounter issues, maybe do a customer service training course or something to learn how to deal with negative feedback. Got a pretty big chip on your shoulder there bud.
