That's not entirely true... I've had a lot on my plate, but I do want to revisit, update, and hopefully expand on this mod.

The author hasn't paid attention here in a long time. (more than two years by now) so while the mod is still awesome, it likely won't be updated again.

Two main issues I have with the mod are that:
1. The xenomorph trait isnt tied to the origin, meaning any species can take it (it gives a lot of bonuses and its free with no downsides except the one below)
2. You cant do any species modification of any type, meaning that while its stronger early on, its really sucks by the time other empires get their evolution ascensions.

I dont know if these are intended by the mod creator, but if they are, it is a very big let down.

@kingdark yes i had removed the ascension mod and the game does not crash nearly as much as before it would crash every five years so i started over removed the mod and i had no crashes for 60 years

This mod is not dead! I've just been a bit busy as of late, but I am intending on updating it for LEM soon. Just been a bit busy as of late, but I do intend on verifying compatibility soon and making any updates that are required. I know they changed a lot of modding stuff, so I'm looking forward to digging in and seeing what the new changes can do. :)

my game randomly crashes i do not know why. i have only this mod and UI changes and a mod that adds ascension perks civics and ethics and its compatability patch im so confused

Alright, so.. Sorry it took so long, as I was trying to determine the best and most compatible way of fixing the issue while (hopefully) breaking the least amount of mods. The new version has a modified script trigger which allows for xenos to be identified as organics, and thereby allows them to be assembled so long as you have organic assembly.

If this causes this mod to conflict with other mods, please identify which mods (if you can) and I'll look into trying to figure out how to make them work happily together.

biological tag is still missing, i suppose it is possible to modify the mod file for that. however i do not know much about modding unfortunately.

The mechanics of pop assembly changed with 3.0.x. Now biological empires can use Pop Assembly. With standard Empires, they to go Bio ascension-the Cloning Vats grants +2 Pop Assembly at a massive food upkeep. You can assemble any race in your empire. With hives, Spawning Drones grant Pop Assembly rather than direct growth. Thing is...the game looks at the species type. If it's not marked 'Biological' it can't use pop assembly. It'll say 'there is no race that can be assembled'.

@tolaburke I'm a little unsure what you mean... Pop assembly is usually used for robotic pops. Xenomorphs are biological.

@fazemlg420swag and @Your Reckoning Sorry it took so long, but I've finally tracked down what was causing the wonky district stuff that caused them to get dropped a month into game. It should now be fixed in the most recent version! :)

So, minor bug report. The preset xenomorph empires species names are mixed up. For some reason, the K-Series and Red Xenomorph species' names are Deacon Xenomorph instead of the proper ones.

I have had the same problem as faze when I did the Rebellious Hive start about a month in the starting districts disappeared and it left me struggling with early game as my food and creds were negative. Don't know if it was intended or not.

@fazemlg420swag That's strange... This mod doesn't touch districts at all, so it definately sounds like something else is causing the problem.

@kayila im not sure it might have been some weird conflict with another mod but when i started a game as a zenomorph not far in all my agriculture and generator districts just disappeared so i had no food or credits and a bunch of unemployed
