Fyi I will be removing this mod as it uses deprecated scrip. I will make sure to have a replacement before it goes completely.

Tried this today for the first time in a over a year and it sort of still works, but as well as the Zombies im also getting wolves that are also incredibly resilient spawning too and as keen never bothered to fix wolves they turrets still cant hit them. Anyone know a fix for this?

Also is there anyway to create a mod to allow decoys to be attacked by your zombies (either first/preferable... or last if at all possible? Thanks Heaps

I see the issue, I should have updated the description. The configuration file is now with modular encounters spawner.

Hi Chipstix213 - I previously had Invasion of Wolves installed, i removed form mod list and added Undead NPC Pack - i see the zombies and they are great. i went looking for the config file in MeridiusIX and found the invasion of the wolves version but none for Undead NPC. i thought the mod might be getting confused so deleted the config folder for it hoping when i loaded into my save game it would recognise ino config file was available and create one. no luck. any help on getting a config file to populate?

Sabaroids spawn on pertam by default. zombies will spawn on planets and skeletons on moons.

have a look at the MES Wiki for admin and config options.

If I'm putting this on a dedicated server, do I need to modify any config files to get them to spawn? I saw earlier you said they spawn everywhere, but I noticed on Pertam I'm seeing those creepy alien spiders instead of zombies.

In an attempt to figure out why I found a SpawnDefinition.sbc file where it has [PlanetWhitelist:Moon]. Am I supposed to add other arguments to that for the other planets?

Mod works great now, NPCs react to damage and spawn randomly.

Zombies and skeletons spawn now but the zombie AI is completely broken, projectiles pass thought all NPC hitboxes and take no damage.
I like the mod, but I broke it somehow...
The spawn Manager mod I`m using is MES compatible, just rather unpredictable. (disabled during NPC testing)

So maybe a other mob mod would do with weapon, but never give a zombie a weapon when all they want is BRAIIINNNNNN!!!!!!!!

Watching a lone figure stride purposefully towards you across a barren moonscape is extraordinarily creepy, so very well done. I've got a couple of questions, as I'd like to tinker with the game a bit: firstly, could one spawn these guys on cargo ships? Could they be given weapons? Also, I notice your guys are animated pretty well- I've been using Rearth's recruitable NPC mod and the NPCs there are a bit...weird. Kind of like mannequins that bounce along the ground. Is there anything that would prevent a friendly NPC being animated like that?

Nevermind the soundbox when the broadcast can do that job for the first 2 the last one might tricky to have the environment music swap for the third one

Ps will need to find a script that spawn with them a soundbox at max volume preloaded with:
1) zombie screams "generic" (when spawned in)
2) zombie scream "brains" (when they spot a viable target)
3) erie music (till the last zombie died)

Hmm, I think releasing npcs individually like you been doing so far is the best. Just didn't like the invasion script. Shame there isn't a way to turn it off in the config file.

Mumberthrax sektan got that to work by replacing the wolf attack sound. I refuse to replace the vanilla bots.

Ryukki because of the script they spawn without the need to have wolves and spiders enabled. To not have them spawn you'll have to switch off the mod.

Could you make a variant without the Invasion of wolves script? I have a planet strictly for building and I don't want my turrets firing suddenly. Also no other npcs are spawning only them.

Yes as the discription says go to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Storage\2267993399.sbm_MeridiusIX and adjust the values in the config files
