This addon definetly works. What the person below me linked might be the same addon, but with a backdoor included.

so i noticed NOBODY really helped anyone in this comment section. For the Apromote tab to show up, you'll have to get the official old Utime on github {ENLACE ELIMINADO}(https://github.com/TeamUlysses/utime) or a fixed version if you can find one BUT, this version of Apromote right there is indeed broken. The only ranks you will see in the Apromote tab will be the admins. There is a fixed version on the workshop {ENLACE ELIMINADO}(https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1782536942)

Every time i have this mod installed this error comes up and sets all the job to nill when a player joins, fix your broken ccap

can I suggest that this does
RunConsoleCommand("ulx", "adduserid" , ply:SteamID() , Rank)

instead of
RunConsoleCommand("ulx", "adduser" , ply:Nick() , Rank)

As this causes errors when people have escape characters in their nickname

I have glitch with bugged sound. It plays itself (with confetti) once for about 10 sseconds but i dont have any rank. (Im client)

It's broken and glitches people so i can't set their rank at all

it keeps disabling the unban system for some reason and has a lua error

use ulx addgroup or in groups click mange groups and they will be a create new button

or is there anyway to restrict the default rank?

Hey is there a way to disable promotion for the guest rank, but say they join the steam group and it promotes them to member, it then starts auto promoting people from member and up?

I thought the addon was broken but turns out, I forgot to grant myself the perm to manage the addon. Great addon, ty uploader!

ok so for some reason the apromote tab wont show up.. das it.. so i need some help :I

For some reason, I had been demoted to a lower rank below admin on my own server...All I did was change a few letters in a group and it did what it did...And now I can't access anything for my server because it wont let me due to the lower rank I am now. Do you know if thats just a bug? If so, PLEASE fix it. I had devoted too much time into doing what I did, and it was working for the longest time, but please, PLEASE find out how you fix this. I dont feel like losing all the progress I had.

Works perfectly for me. Added it to my WS collection and let my server download it. Tested with 2 ranks with different hours using latest Utime, ULX and ULib.

still dont work. i downgraded ULX, ULIB and UTIME but still not in the TAB bar visible...

hey, i added everything, set new groups, but in the TAB menu there is nothing new, no "special ranks" are added, there is only karma, score, death, points, but nothing with tha apromote. in !menu / settings i can see everything, i added also the playtime to the ranks, but it still didnt work (also not after a couple of server restarts) how can i fix it?

When I reset the server, the time reset too, and the autopromote stops counting time... halp me ;c (I have the last version of UTime)

I have "Auto Demote" turned off but it keeps demoting my admins. Help?

Make sure you grant yourself the permission to see it in permissions, otherwise you need to hunt for an error to find out why it isn't loading.

The apromote section isn't there. Is there another way to do it?

hey just to let you know Lead4u, silk icons are built into garrysmod. So instead of including the files for the cog symbol, you can just set it to icons/cog

xgui.addSettingModule( "APromote", panel, "icon16/cog.png", "apromote_settings" )

so you can get rid of the resource add lines to put in and the materials folder.

Auto Promote seems to be conficting with xgui and I dont know how to fix it .
The xgui menu becomes empty and nothing works in it. If anyone know how to fix this please halp.
