I added a road connection to this so it shouldn't burn down anymore.

Also, these wonderful buildings are for some reason exempt from fire protection. I don't know if adding road connections would solve it or if it's a separate problem (all the other Venetian waterfront buildings of yours work perfectly fine even if only connected by footpaths). You see it when you hover the mouse over the open fire department window: everything protected (which is practically ALL buildings) is lit up green, but these remain dark whatever you try. Yesterday one of them burned down in my game, such a shame. Otherwise I really really adore your series, by the way.
