I wanted to do something completely different so I came up with the idea of baking transparency. I spent so much time to find out if it was even possible.
My first idea was to put someone trapped inside of a furnace, but it wasn’t working because of the “cylinder” mesh.
So I decided to start with less complex mesh (ak47 has a flat surface) and this is my final result.
This is not my favorite skin, but I feel it was like an achievement for me for finally being able to bake transparency. (I did the same thing on my last garage door skin as a test on the glass part)
Also having more than 550 skins, I’m pretty sure there will be skins with similarities and this work both ways.
