It is a big story and none can tell for sure..The Thebans we a mix of 3 tribes...Kadmioi were Ionians(from Kadmos)..Minees(Thessally..an Aiolian tribe of Hellenes) and Boiotians an other Aiolian tribe)...now to our bloody business..the Lakedaimons were not tanned..nor the rest of ancient hellenes Lakedaimon and Makedon are the same tribe..they were pure white which utterly categorized them to Hellenes and not Hellenes or Aristocrats and lesser men..The Omoioi spartans were all pure light..they were Dorians descend from ancient Fthia in central Hellas who were cast out from KADMIOI to northern Hellas and took the name MAKEDNOI(oh yes Makedon are relatives to Sparta).....So Thebans were white like the pure Hellenes as they come from Deukalion one of the founders of Pelasgians-Hellenes So dont put beards ,,lighten the skin, long hair and prime (sacred band were athletes) and pretty for sure..

@ dimitili - And may i ask sir, what was the complexion of the Thebans, was it more tan and grizzled like Lacedaemons? or were they more cut and prime, pale and pretty, like Macedonians and Athenians? So i know what skin types to give them

@ϟϟ HaDeS ϟϟ Thebes defeated Sparta at the battle of Leuctra in 371 BCE... They are wearing the BOETIAN helmet, there is no "Macedonian Helmet" to which the Thebens associated themselves with the Provence of Boetia, it was often used by Cavalry because it was a cheaper alternative to the Corninthian and gave great protection/visibility. That sword is called a Xiphos, it was just one type of Greek sword Hoplites used. A soldier would buy and use whatever equipment he wanted while still remining uniform with eveyone else.... Do your research before making ignorant comments. This unit is Historical.

thebes are my fav greek faction.. too bad their not in the game :(.. but great work on the mod :D

Hello for one more time my friend...I don't want to become mean but the Theban Sacred Band???What I want to say is...only by the Athenians fought against Sparta and Macedon,after that they were destroyed...so please make them only for Athens recruitable and if you are able to change their helmets...they used corinthian old helmets not the Macedonian Late helmets...and on their shields they had as emblem the club of Hercules all of them it was one of the first profesional units in Hellenic history (all of them same armour,same shields,same weapons),also Hellenic armies used kopis sword not the sword that used barbarians or other western types of swords...if you are able to change that then they shall be fearsome

you do some very good mesh work ser. especially with added units to make compatible with other mods. i dont like reskins too much because they crash the game if you have another skin mod on. havent used kaziel just for this reason.(also like normals unit cards too much to deal with vanilla. lol) +rep

u could only make them recurited when u take apllonia and cap them to 1 with a number of 150 for historical purposes but hay lets say gigo or that theban commander felt like making more lol either way it dont matter
