hey i applied this mod and none of the cosmetic options are showing up. Like its almost like I never even applied the mod on at all.

Good mod, however toooo large, to many options, in turn makes game slower, and my rig is pretty beeeefy.

Absolutely fantastic armours, but far too many options. Using Project DollHouse, I seem to be unable to blacklist any of them, so they're just causing too much loading when opening the customisation options.

Hey guys the issue with the Firaxis Launcher should now be resolved because the Firaxis Launcher has been removed.

@Prophet The solution is messing with configs and hoping for the best.

@kamykrak I've looked into baking the mod but ran into some difficulties in the before time. I may look into it again in the future

Hey friend FYI, the Legs and the arms are set to padded and medium armor only, while the torso and head pieces are unrestricted. Meaning during campaign you can't use legs or arms after upgrading your armor. Any idea of a fix for this?

After applying the mod some of my soldiers had randomly stuff applied from your mod.
Or rather: their stock armor was partially and randomly being replaced with some parts.
Plus: i wasn't able to remove parts i added to "arms" and "legs" but had to swith to another armor to reset the equipped gear (sans the firearms of course).

I just removed the mod from being an active mod in the Alternative Launcher and now soldiers who had gear from your mod equipped are partially invisible; only their head and weapon(s) can be seen.

If i switch to, say, a Grenadiert armor from the Tactical Legacy Pack, the soldier will be rendered completely normal.
If i switch back to Warden armour: again they are partially invisible.


I guess i could reset my Config folder.
But i've changed some stats some two weeks ago in the ini files (building cost, research times, stat points gained per level up) and wouldn't want to change them all over again.

I'm using the Alternative Launcher.
And yeah it could be any of the other mods but yours is one the last ones i've installed so i'm just ruling things out.

But it's a fantastic mod!
The models and details are amazing!

But since i've installed some voice packs and a model the Pulse Rifle i really wanna keep your mod.

It shouldn't mess anything up to remove though, when cosmetic mods are removed, existing soldiers have the missing part replaced with a random one

I think this mod is messing a bit with my soldiers at the equipment / customize screen.
Which i wan to test by (temporarily) disabling the mod.

Is it safe to disable it from the launcher or will it corrupt my save?
(maybe some of my soldiers still have gear attached from this mod)

I've removed my previous comment on the subject because I had a piece of information wrong. On my end, my mod does not show up in the Firaxis Mod Launcher. That being said, it DOES show up in the Alternate Mod Launcher. So, what am I going to be doing about this issue?

Nothing. The Firaxis Mod Launcher needs a priest, not me. Use the AML. I'm not going to fix this issue because it's way above my pay grade and I don't care about the FML.

Love this mod, the creator put so much work into it and it really shows. Everything looks amazing like it's straight out of the movie. The Aliens aesthetic is hand in glove with XCOM 2 it could be vanilla. Kudos to Kartoffel great work on this one

Can I selectively disable stuff from this mod? I am trying to lighten the load when I run the game, and disable things I do not use. While all of this is excellent, there are things that I haven't used much, some of the variations, for example.

Is it just going to the ini and setting stuff to false so that it does not load?

@theultimatezapzap agreed its a rather beefy mod with all the camo variants. Its a great mod but holy heck opening the customization gives it a heart attack lol.

These look great but it doesn't make sense that this mod is 1,47 GB in size. That's larger than mods like COD weapon packs. Can you please upload a version without so many camo variants?

Still no. I unsuscribed and suscribed in order to download it again; it still shows as [WOTC], but the launcher tags it as "XCOM 2 only" and I can't see the armor in the customization menu. I feel I must be missing some step... :(

I can't get this to work. Althoughit is markes as [WOTC], my XCOM 2 Steam Launcher flags it as 'only available for XCOM 2", and I can't seen the armour pieces in the soldier customization menu. I must be something wrong. :(

Please make a version that does not require Unrestricted Customization! Please! Because some of my mods conflicts with Unrestricted Customization. I can't use this mod if it has dependency on that. Would be really helpful if you can make alternative version available for us! Thank you again!

@armbarchris Yeah I think I initially had unrestricted customization as a requirement, then some folks wanted it to be free from requiring that so I did a half arsed update that removes the requirement, but honestly at this point if I update the mod again I'll probably just add it back as an update. As far as the shin objects go, I completely agree. I lined them up in a way that matches with what the in-game customization options show in ACM (and I double checked to make sure I wasn't just lining it up based on some arbitrary nonsense). I'm 50/50 on if I want to update this again, and if I do I'll probably correct the shin options since it makes sense to me that the devs probably messed them up (not the first time they did that). May also adjust some textures while I'm at it, provided doing so doesn't unravel the web of poor planning that makes up the bulk of this mod. :v
