Another thing I would reaaaaaaally but really really would like was if there wasent a cap for GDP.... neither a lower cap nor a top cap. Maybe have a formula so that the greater the GDP percapita, the smaller the potential growth or something like that. That way the game woulnd't lose balance.
He is now chasing me
Also a fuel tax.
Also tax exemptions for books and food (similar to education&healthcare)
The "Strengthen Tax Code" policy does indeed reduce tax evasion as well as increases the income of several taxes by a factor of 15% at max levels, which can lead to some crazy income tax levels!
I'll take a look at the tax opinion modifier piece and see what there is to do there :)
2) Prostitution is a cringy term in legislation, the correct wording would be sex work. Second just adding a sex work tax is kind of regressive since that separates it from other forms of self-employment. So for simply taxing sex work, that should be tagged onto the policy to legalise it, if for some reason it isn't already.
3) I haven't played the mod yet so don't know if the strengthen tax code already does this but I'd like more interaction with tax efficiency and tax dodging.

1) Taxing citizens living abroad on income earned abroad. Last I heard only the US and Eritrea do this. Example: if I'm an American citizen living in Japan and working in Japan, I still have to pay US income taxes. Loved by patriots, hated by any citizens living abroad.
2) Ireland artist tax exemption. Artists & creative types don't pay income tax on stuff they sell.
3) Cow flatulence tax / slaughterhouse tax. Loved by enviros, hated by farmers. Currently exist in Denmark.
4) Social media / blogging tax. Tax per day social media's used / per year blogging is used. Currently in Uganda and was in Tasmania.
5) Dog tax. Currently in Switzerland. Dogs there are taxed by weight & size.
I could create a country mod in which each country had a higher maximum GDP, but this wouldn't do much besides changing $ amounts in game - The balance would be the same as it is now and you still wouldn't be able to grow your GDP past a certain threshold. If absolute, endless growth numbers are to be implemented, I think it has to be at a level only the developer could accomplish, not a modder :(
