A very weird bug just happened with this mod (possibly another mod interfering? no other animal caused this before though): once my argali ewe gave birth, all of the pawn/animal sprites in the game disappeared if the lamb was on-screen as well. Killing it did not solve the issue. The corpse didn't register as, well, a corpse for purposes of butchering, its description was empty and if colonists picked it up the inventory panel would glitch out.

hmm, i have a similar issue with snow leopard not showing up at all. I used dev console to destroy the animal though. I'll post the log once i encounter the issue again.

The snow leopard is just a purple red cube placeholder graphic - and the description is empty - it just says snow leopard and everything else is not displayed when i press the information window...

I'm just glad to know I wasn't alone and it was something about just my setup...

No worries. Update log in rimpy is a really minor issue I'd say and the version.txt updating on game boot might not even be directly related to the mods themselves for all I know. Those work perfectly fine. Love your mods btw <3 Thanks for all the joy they've given!

I don't know anything about modding. Maybe it's a file that's steam doesn't usually upload or something, or maybe there's something really odd going on on my end (but at least I'm not alone with this weird bug now xD)
For reference, the other mods where it happens for me are: Outland -Core/Toxic Forest/Genetics, Tweaks Galore and Tabula Rasa.

@Pheace - I've no idea. I could ask about it but I think this is an issue that might not be able to be fixed easily =/ I've checked all my mod folders and they have a version.txt in them, so I don't know what's going on. :(

Your other mods don't seem to have a version.txt for me when I check their folder. I've tried deleting it before but it just gets created again when I start the game then. Odd stuff indeed.

I've not got these issues personally, so there has to be something really weird going on with RimPy. I use that tool myself and have never seen it constantly trying to update mods like that.

I have about 8 mods that do the exact same thing every time I start the game, 4 of them from Erin (Cat Overhaul, Wildlife, Final Fantasy Animals and Auronya).

From what I can tell they all have one thing in common. When the game starts up a new version.txt gets created in the mod root folder (the folder with the number of the mod). And because that file gets created Rimpy sees it as the latest update time (going by latest file date).

I don't know why the game adds these version.txt on starting Rimworld though for these mods. Maybe it is lacking something that would normally be in the mod somewhere and so it creates it itself?

Strangest thing- this mod and erin's cat overhaul are STILL downloading new for me *every* single day... wth is in them that makes it so? RimPy reports them on the newly downloaded list every day. This has been going on for months.
