The difference is it's a little more contrasted if I'm right. pretty sure Valve lowered the contrast to match L4D1's tone back when L4D1 was handed to Valve, causing the retail L4D1 Tank to look a little strange in certain lighting... could just be me though, and this could be false.

Okay, I may just be stupid, or might just be the lighting on some maps, but what are the actually differences? It just kinda of looks the same to me. Still cool mod tho, just asking.

I totally agree with the guy below me

If you play versus (either in l4d1 or l4d2) you'll notice the hunter arms are the beta ones, and since you mentioned that you recovered the tank using its arm models, maybe you could with the hunter as well!
