It doesn't need an update y'all. some mods can go a good while without it. I've had this mod for like 2 years

In the Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\2238118575\common\decisions folder, edit those files in there to add

picture = {
reference = "..."
}

Basically putting the { reference = in front of the path for the photo. don't forget the end }

Still works to this day, except the decision, since those were recently reworked in RtP.
You will need to add the trait when creating a character, commands or cheats mods.

I added the trait in the character creator and the eyes did not change color. Only other mods I am running are Pika Cheat Menu Fix & Ruler Designer 40k Points. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

It works with AGOT but it's very overpowered. Everyone likes my characters because of the opinion bonus lol

I know you will no longer update the mod, but however. Do you know by chance how i can just play with only "Blood of Old Valyria" trait without the level system (level 1,2 and 3)?
Which script do i get rid of or change with?

I just want it to act as like the "Pureblooded" trait. like if only one parent has the trait there's a low chance it could get inherited, and full chance with both parents having it.

Adding another few lines of code to prevent children from receiving both Albino and Valyrian traits as the sametime. - Mmm look I tried to combine this mod with this one - https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2576901371&searchtext=albino
And the result is a "cool looking albino character with purple eyes". So is it really necessary? But do what you must its your mod after all. I'm just saying that the combination of both of them looks amazing, thats all.

Question, if Dragonblooded is rank 4, then why, in my game at least, does "Blood of Old Valyria" appear when I type in "add_trait valyrian_3" and "Dragonblooded" appears in the description when I type "add_trait valyrian_1"?

Think it's just the wording that's been mixed up, and honestly, I may not have noticed if my character hadn't given birth to a child with the Dragonblooded trait and the description that they "bear the blood of Old Valyria, though it's almost impossible to tell. That's when I started experimenting with the code. The stats all work appropriately, it looks like it's just the trait names that are mixed up

Well technically Targaryen can be albinos, normal targaryens dont have white body hairs like albinos

Also it might be worth to note i still havent played the game unmoded so i might be a bit confused about congenital traits inheritance.

Hey bro thanks for looking into it but i should have explained myself better.What i was trying to do was start my Valyrian dynasty with a demigod ruler and his 4 wives with same traits and actually expected the offsprings to be not as exceptional as their parents but when im using only your mod which affects genetics all the kids kept highest tier traits and when i add Improved Genetics to the mix it worked out like i wanted(kids had different tier congenital traits) but this time Valyrian traits didnt pass on.
I guess it makes sense for the congenital traits to not change when both parents have the same genes.I mean what do you expect when two recessive phenotypes have an offspring.Its not so bad since i can think like my pure blooded dynasty members are all demigods still as i said it would be nice to choose the descendant standing out with its abilities.

So when using this mod by itself, if you are far in the Blood Legacy tree, kids inside your house will likely inherit the best version of the trait, its the bastards that tend to inherit the lower grades.

And attempting to make a compatibility mod, but after getting into the code, the compatibility mod might have to be made on his end.
It looks like in order to get the compatibility to work properly, I would have to copy his entire (or at least the entire code files that are being modified) mod and add a couple lines of code in it, then upload that, which is not viable in the long run.

After looking into Imrpoved Genetics briefly, it looks as if I should be able to make a compatibility mod and I see why it's giving everybody the highest tier with that mod on.

Hey bro thanks for this cool mod but it could be so much cooler if it could work together with Improved Genetics.When both of them are enabled my children dont inherit the valyrian genes and when i only use your mod all my children have the same highest tier congenital traits and i kind of wish they were a bit more unique among each other.So perhaps could you make something jointly with the other creator as an improvement to this special mod?

The issue may be that you have the mod in the document's mod directory and the mod installed in the steamapps mod directory at the same time.

Try removing the mod from the documents mod directory and stay subscribed to the one from steam.

So, Idk why but when I try to input add_trait valyrian_3 into the console command, even when using the char id at the end of the command, it does not work. It just gives me the "invalid trait" or "trait does not exist" or whatever. Am I doing something wrong? The decisions isn't working either, I don't even see the decision in there. And yes, I have the mod downloaded and installed, it's even in the mod directory, and I've unsubbed, and subbed a few times now to see if it works, even disabled all my other mods. Thank you

If you look in the trait files you will see a line that appears to cancelled out with double #, but it really is not cancelled out.

At the end of this line you will see the words recessive, and dominant as well as a number 1-100.
Thats where you mess with it.

From what I can tell, the more recessive (higher %) something is, the more likely it won't pass on if only one parent has the trait.

What do you have to change in the local files to make some traits dominant or recessive
