im going to say it again this is one of the worst maps ever to be added for scream fortress. the navigation is absolutely horrible when it comes to this map, theres almost no visual indicators as to where the spawn room starts or where it is. its got way to many chokepoints and its just infuriating to play on

I will explain:
unobvious navigation on the map,
the inability to pass where it seems possible,
it is not obvious where the boundaries of the blue respawn end,
a strange box instead of a first aid kit on the blue
respawn, I never found the entrances to the afterlife

the map is very raw and needs polishing

They must be really scraping the bottom of the barrel to add this map. I'm sure I'd hate the rest of it past the start if games ever progressed that far. Stop with the constant crit/minicrit spam.

I have noted the spell situation, there will be a fix for the issue in future update. They shouldnt spawn so often as they do now.

I think it's a fun and charming map, however how many spells are on the map and how frequently they respawn become frustrating quickly.

This one doesn’t look too bad though, I’ll definitely play it fully.

Haven’t played this one fully but honestly it looks meh at most. This and the other map just Erebus, don’t really have that spirit of the other Halloween maps that exist. Just feels boring and uneventful.

Now this, this is by far your best payload map. It's not too chaotic or jarring to play, a good balance between teams.
My only complaint is that some of the collision on it is a little funny. There are spots where you should be able to jump, but can't.

i was going to mention the version at the botton (r4) aha, i just went for what was on tf2maps, my bad!

Hmm, it seems you are running an older version of this map @grip - please check that the version you test with is pl_terror_event_rc8

just checking the map i saw a few things:
the underworld is scuffed.
there is a good portion of the underworld that does not have a kill trigger, and you can get to it with a good jump on demo or solly (beggar's). +all classes with the mini spell:

the outer perimeter of the underworld doesn't seem to be triggered off either, so you can just walk a certain amount around the underworld:

(also the skull feels like it should have hitboxes so you don't accidentally fall through it or something imo)
(you could tele trap people in these spots if you were really against fun)

It fixes and improves many things, some not too obvious for everyone but overall its propably now as ready as it can be. New update out as soon as Steam moderation team accepts it. Lots of changes and improvements that i mentioned in my last comment. So this is the first one that i talked about. Will propably do another at this fall at latest. Right now i have another map project starting...

Thanks. I'll see what i can do. This map was built very fast because halloween was approaching and i think i will do a major overhaul update to it during the next year. Propably couple, to make it more better playing and more interesting.

Some suggestions:

1) Add the Headless Horseless Horsemann, but to make the boss fit the carnival theme of the map, I suggest that the HHH appear as its Carnival of Carnage variant, using the giant Necro Smasher.
And of course Merasmus should announce the presence of the boss with voice lines. That would be fun.

2) Replace the pumpkin bombs with the balloon-dynamite reskin of Koth_Laughter. This also fits better with the carnival theme than the (overused) pumpkin bombs.

3) Speaking of koth Laughter, you should considered add mini-games to this map like the ones in that other.
Red and Blu can have a shooting game in their spaws for get crits or you even can replace the reward with a spell, instead the crit pumpkin.

It looks like that no matter how much I hurry, this map wont be in Scream Fortress 2020. Congrats to everyone who got their map in.

I've been putting some other real life stuff off to get this done, so not going to rush with this no more. Will get it done, just not as fast as I planned. Thanks to everyone who voted on this and supported me.
