it's a glitch with the game. try editors that are not angled in the map, like the one on top of the canyon for example.

some of these just break apart instantly when spawned wich is stupid

Do you know how to make the plane function? Gear, MGs and flaps work, but I can't actually drive/fly the plane under it's own power.

that's a unfixable glitch in the game due to the editor's angle. it happens to all creations with lots of phase shifting but I'm sorry to hear that
