You'd probably have to remove the name from the loading screens txt file so they don't pull a blank.

Would customizing this (removing some of the screens) be as simple as deleting the dds files of the screens you don't want from the loading_screens folder?

No worries <3 After asking the Rhazak for permission, I kept the mod I uploaded as 99 Immersive Loading Screens - Legacy Version and also added Rhazak as owner too, love the mod, love the community I am glad I could help somehow!

Awesome to hear that this is up and running again! Gotten so tired of that damn balcony scene, and I'm super excited to try this when I get home from work.

There we go, updated! Sorry for being slow...

I've put together the submods into this one too, along with many other new screens added and some old ones removed.

Thank you SoreZar for picking up my slack and providing for the people when I did not. I downloaded your mod and used the text file, it sped up the process.

I updated the mod and fixed the issue, also uploaded it to steam workshop will drop the link, if I can contact to the author I will give the files to them and remove my own uploaded updated version of this mod to support their work.

@cumo860, Plus Devs added a new priority settings file to the loading screens folder

I believe most Loading Screen mods are broken that have no been updated to work with the new priority and file name.

For loading screens to be used they now require to be part of the loadscreen_settings.txt file. If anybody wants to update it, it just requires that file be added with the names of these images accordingly.

@Karasu, same here, but I get the same image of the girl in the boat dead, even without this mod. So I think it is something on PDX side and not a mod issue.

This mod was working fine up until the latest Legend of the Dead DLC released. Now none of the images appear in loading screens. Has anyone else experienced this?

Good stuff. My only criticism is that there's too much war. I like that the official loading screens have a mix of war and peace, showing all aspects of royalty

My friend, the mod hasn't been updated since 2020. It's doubtful it will receive any further updates.

Just like child_of_air said, this mod is producing error output:

[10:08:54][dlc_descriptor.cpp:70]: Invalid supported_version in file: mod/ugc_2227406359.mod line: 6

I the mod descriptor file says:

supported_version="1.*.*"

Based on the error output, I suppose wild cards are not fully supported syntax. Can this please be fixed?

@komitor I did find a way to do this somewhat. If you follow this file path.

Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/1158310/2227406359/gfx/interface/illustrations/loading_screens

and then convert those files to a png via a free file conversion website you should be able to use some of the loading screens as PC backgrounds. However, not all of the loading screens seem available this for some reason.
