I really wish this mod worked on the current game version. Otherwise good mod but please update.

Forgot to clarify that playing as Byzantine changes your Govt to Imperial Autocracy, hence removing RC interactions. I havent tried playing as another culture with this enabled to see if RC still works for other non Byzantine cultures.

FYI to all, while this mod can still work with current patch, it removes most Royal Court interactions since RC requires Feudal, Clan or Tribal Govts to work properly.

One of the better mods in the workshop for CK3 currently, unfortunately the developer doesn't seem too motivated to keep this up to date or add new features. Hope that changes.

Is there a way to avoid all mercenary companies replacing pikemen and helbadiers with skutaroi and hoplitoi? It's a little bit strange having those mercenaries in strange zones such as Africa and India

This mod currently breaks the game, yes. but the crash can be resolved by deleting the "on_action" folder, which however, means that the government won't spawn at the start. However, modifying the prestige requirement from 1000 to 1 in the decision file to restore the imperial government effectively spawns the government from day 1. Also, the government doesnt have access to royal court, which can be easily resolved by going to "governments" folder, then to the file itself and adding royal_court = yes line after "dynasty_named_realms = yes".

at least it worked for me and may serve as a temporary solution at least.

Currently hasnt been updated in almost a year. Probably still works to some extent, but Royal Court will probably break alot, so use at your own risk. Depending on my attitude I *MAY* attempt to revive the mod, however I make 0 promises.

I would suggest trying to fix the usurp throne, its very annoying as if they manage to not glitch out you've lost your throne, and you have to create your own faction, and burn constantinople, win and have your capital destroyed. Its also annoying because anyone can be a usurper, and vassals easily join, it simply just annoying because it isnt realistic how your vassals will be in a faction to make sure you arent the emperor, and then when you make it they join it.

improving the create rome decision would be a welcome addition. is there any plans for it? right now there is no reason to do roman Renascence as it just makes it harder to get the mod's innovations and removes the elective succession. The culture group difference also makes your greek vassals more rebellious and some characters of different culture groups can not have the seize land ability used against them.

I would suggest History of Byzantium podcast to mod creators, as this mod is very unhistorical.
It misses the mark on how it worked, except acknowledging it had a complex system.

Could I ask that someone upload a compatch for this mod and Daddy Pika's Cheat Menu?

Or at least suggest another cheat menu with similar functionality that doesn't break this mod?

I can't code at all, and the suggestions in the comments for how to fix the issue myself make no sense to me. This seems like a super cool mod, and I'd like to use it for a Byzantine play through. Suggestions are appreciated.
