You should add that mention about compatibility in the description! And thank you!

@Hangfish
I just found out from the Amalgamation mod author, that it has support for this mod in one it's config... check the AMA configs/documentation but you should find/be able to create an entry like;

[AmalgamationClassesWOTC.X2SoldierClass_Amalgamation]
+AllClassAllowedArmors="soldier"
+AllClassAllowedArmors="soldier_Light"
+AllClassAllowedArmors="soldier_Heavy"
+AllClassAllowedArmors="Icarus"
+AllClassAllowedArmors="RAGE"
+AllClassAllowedArmors="Serpent"
+AllClassAllowedArmors="soldier_Covert"

no.
You would have to create a classdata.ini entry for every class-combo that AMA could produce.
I should make a note of this in the mod description.

With how the Amalgmalation classes are implimented, can I just target the specs for them to create compatibility for the armor tweaks from this mod?
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 14. aug. 2024 kl. 16:30
I don't use it, but pretty sure I listed it in the discussions
hivemindtime123 14. aug. 2024 kl. 16:06
What about the spec-ops class?
Epic Dovahkiin 31. jan. 2024 kl. 9:08
i don't know why but that's what I've found in my testing
Epic Dovahkiin 31. jan. 2024 kl. 9:08
i can confirm you do need to restart your campaign for any class YOU add as a template the others update in an ongoing campaign
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 28. aug. 2023 kl. 8:52
It will work for whatever classes you set it up for in the config, it has the standalone LW2 Classes and Perks by default iirc ... so it just needs correcting for actual LWotC names.
CommandoWaos 28. aug. 2023 kl. 8:44
Sorry, possibly this in the description but my English is not so good, my question is if it works in LWOTC?
Tricksrhage 9. juni 2023 kl. 16:54
yeah it doesn't work in an ongoing campaign, but damn I was hoping it worked with the mod armor so I could get the hero units to actually work with the ascetic I was going for lol, thanks anyways
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 9. juni 2023 kl. 16:49
More than likely the mod-added armour is in the category of "soldier" and won't be affected. The list of armours (and classes) this mod does affect is detailed in the mod description and the comments

This might need a new campaign, I've never tried it in an ongoing one as I've always had it on.

Final Question: this sounds like the UI mod is changing the placing facing or 'localisation' name, which isn't an issue.
Tricksrhage 9. juni 2023 kl. 16:25
..final question does a UI changing the names of classes also mess with it?
Tricksrhage 9. juni 2023 kl. 15:54
also do you have to restart your campaign for it to work
Tricksrhage 9. juni 2023 kl. 15:48
question, does it effect stuff like armor that's from a mod but it's not a class mod? like it adds in armor that just follows the progression of the normal armor, like if you unlocked spider you then unlock an armor from the mod as well
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 12. nov. 2022 kl. 16:44
so the ex-advent people are the only ones that can wear advent-armour ... well that kind of makes sense ... :)

but if you want to change it, it'll be in the XComClassData.ini, all other classes need the AllowArmour line for the advent cosmetic .. or the XComGame.ini needs the armour to NOT be split into it's own category and remain in the 'soldier' category
FrezeDEF 12. nov. 2022 kl. 16:23
If nothing is changed, it is possible to wear armor only on the skirmisher
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 12. nov. 2022 kl. 15:02
Um.. it should already work with that mod?
There's more than one line to make an armour set compatible with this mod, or to make a new class use the correct sets ... but most of the instructions (and ample examples) are in the config files.
FrezeDEF 12. nov. 2022 kl. 14:54
Which lines should be changed so that it works correctly with the [WOTC] ADVENT Armor: Reverse-Engineering mod?
ExCrafty 2. aug. 2022 kl. 19:31
Thanks for that. :)

Maybe a dumb question but, what does the "Titan & Grand Titan" armour refer to ? Is it the armour from XCOM EU/EW ?
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 4. sep. 2020 kl. 9:17
@Ludwig the Spectre : Yes that mod was the previous version of TLP Looks for All ... it doesn't offer the same level of finite control that this mod does.

@(vVv) Ragnar : Yes you can add Superheavy Battlesuits by config, you need to add the template name of the suit to xcomgame, and give it a designation. Then in xcomclassdata you can decide which classes can use the armor suit by adding the designation.
(vVv) Ragnar 4. sep. 2020 kl. 9:04
Is it possible to integrate Superheavy Battlesuits only by config?
Ludwig, Shadow Protogen 4. sep. 2020 kl. 0:48
Other than replacing the 2 mods stated above, have you seen other mods that could potentially be substituted for this mod like "All Armor For All Heroes"?
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 3. sep. 2020 kl. 19:53
I'm not planning to add any more classes to the workshop upload than what are already here. That said.. I'm also not planning any updates to this at all, so you are free and fully encouraged to add/edit the classes that you personally use to the config files yourself.

However, that being said it does no damage to make a backup of your own config edits just in case I do update the mod. (Unkown bug, new armor set etc, unforseen future event)

I'm sorry, there are just too many class mods out there for me to 'get them all', so I covered what I thought were the most common/popular and what I use myself.

Thanks!
So are you aiming to add most class mods into this?? Like chimera and??
